We decided late Friday night a mountain weekend was needed, we got up early Saturday morning and were able to book a room via Tripadvisor at the hotel. Not knowing what we got, we were pleasantly surprised when we checked in that we actually booked the one bedroom cabin, Storie Cottage. We arrived at 12, but weren't able to check... More

We stayed in Room 114, which was a larger room. It had a king sized bed with antique furnishings. The room was clean. We had a lovely private deck looking out over a stream. Even though the hotel was on the main road, it was very quiet and serene. There are tables and chairs around the pond in the front... More

The inn is an older "motel" style, but the room we stayed in had been modernized and updated. Flat screen TV and new tile in the bathroom make it feel much more current. Bathroom is a little small, but doesn't detract. You can't beat the price! We chose to stay here even though there were other chain hotels that were... More

My husband and I stayed at the Village Inn for one night with our dog Grace. The grounds are beautiful and the location convenient to town. Nice shops and restaurants. Could easily walk to dinner. Very small stone area for dogs to relieve themselves. Grace would not go on the stones so we had to walk her up and down... More

Perfect location and room for the price! We got a great deal at $102 per night and we loved our stay! Recommend requesting room 114 - it is on the corner and huge! The deck off the back is also huge with more room and a perfect few of the stream. I almost rated this location a 4 because the... More

Tucked away off of route 312 is this plesent surprise! It's tranquil, peaceful and just walking distance from the town Blowing Rock. Beautiful well kept rooms. We had a lovely dinner at Rustque again just walking distance. Unfortunately this morning the staff person responsible for opening up and preparing coffee, breakfast was really late and we got a late start... More

My wife and I had a night getaway planned in Blowing Rock. We gave the Village Inn a shot. When we checked in and got the key, we went to tour the room. All was nice except for a really strong cleaner smell and no jetted tub. I really expected the tub as shown in trip advisors pictures. I went... More

We took a last minute ski trip to Blowing Rock and decided to find the cheapest decent hotel I could. We were not expecting much for the price we paid, so were pleasantly surprised by Village Inn. The rooms are a little on the smaller side but very cozy and comfortable and quiet. Perfect for two. Nicely decorated and very... More

This was our second stay here. Last time we were very disappointed with the room size, but this time we were prepared. We were in 104, a king room with a little tiny sitting area off the side. We enjoyed the setup of this room much better than our last room (105). It was extremely clean, comfortable bed, great water... More
