I travel all the time and stay in all types of places. I am a frequent user of groupon, trip advisor, VRBO etc. I purchased this stay on groupon. If you have ever used groupon then you know the room is prepaid. When we checked in the reservation clerk stated she needed a credit card to put a $50 "hold"... More

It is customary in the hotel industry for a hold to be placed on credit cards upon check in to cover incidentals even when the hotel room charge has been pre-paid to a third party. Our front desk staff explained that should there be no incidental charges the hold would typically drops off within 72 hours after check out. In... More

We've stayed here for the past few years and were a bit disappointed this trip. The beds have gotten so soft and uncomfortable that we both walked around with backaches all weekend. We had a few bugs in our room, one of which I think was the kissing bug that carries a terrible virus. Our shower drained so slowly that... More

The inn was very quaint and cozy. Room was perfect for a family of 3 and one puppy. The room was clean. Loved the rocking chairs on your personal deck. The gathering room was very nice as well. Very rustic/woodsy feel. Loved the creek behind the property and there are several areas for bonfires. Wish it wasn't raining so we... More

Quaint, charming, rustic, quiet, serene and absolutely perfect! We arrived after the office had closed but our key was waiting for us with no problems. Room was large, bed was plush & comfy, back patio was very large, private and had chairs that overlooked a tranquil stream. Continental breakfast was served in a lodge type setting with cozy fire -... More

I ended up checking in late to the Village Inn, however with the late check-in we were able to get into our room easily. The room was very nicely decorated and extremely clean. It was right off of Sunset and about a half a mile from Main St. Just a little out of walking distance, but still very conveniently located.... More

So, this would be our fourth trip to the Village Inn. First time, great; second time they could not find our reservations, third time not so good but they rectified it by moving us to another property; and now our fourth time. Unbelievable. Our room was partially serviced upon arrival. Meaning the bed was made, I smelled the sheets, it... More

This place has been very well renovated. Service was great (I got a cookie at check in) and breakfast was very nice. They even allow pups in some rooms! We will definitely go back. All of the rooms have a back deck that looks onto water. Very pretty. Convenient to all of downtown.

I would highly recommend this place. The customer service was wonderful and super helpful. The young man that checked us in helped us with restaurant choices, and then explained why he recommended each place. Every recommendation he gave us was spot on. The room was great as well, it was nice and cozy, and although it was cold I loved... More

We spent 3 nights in one of the King rooms at the Village Inn. Beautifully decorated, with a small chandelier over a little bistro table and a bed you have to climb up into! Private deck with chairs and a view from the room was lovely, although it rained the whole time we were there....Construction on the highway in front... More

It is unfortunate that there is road construction right out front. This might stop travelers from checking it out. Having said that, it seems the hotel is waiting for this annoyance to be over to provide some fundamental important details that would make this reviewer like it better. A sweet little room, but musty with an unclean tub and lights... More
