We have wanted stay in Blowing Rock a long time, I wish I had checked on this a little more though. The room was small but very clean and taken care of. The bathroom way to small We did not have a microwave as we needed one, we had to use the kitchen instead, they give you a book to... More

We've been going to Blowing Rock for about 25 years. Hillwinds Inn was the first place we stayed, we have stayed there more than anywhere, and we just spent four nights there again. However, it's their location within walking distance of Main St that keeps us there. We are usually disappointed mostly with the bathrooms. They are not kept up,... More

We only booked one nite in Blowing Rock while riding the Blue Ridge Parkway & ended up spending a 2nd here. Very nice inside, small, but extremely clean, most comfortable beds ever! Nice stroll to Main Street where all the shops/restaurants are. Will definitely book here again our next trip back.

My husband and I were finally able to take a vacation after the death of our son last year and were excited about staying in Blowing Rock. I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. Bathroom had mold on the shower wall and curtain. All the lights in the room were so dim you couldn't see well. Overhead fan... More

We visit Blowing Rock regularly, and this is a favorite motel of ours. The rooms have recently been updated, and have new hardwood floors, and nice comfy beds. Super location right in the village. Complimentary breakfast is just "okay". Every time we have stayed, the desk attendant is also responsible for the breakfast, and service is lacking. I would still... More

We stayed in the Davidson Suite with our infant and toddler, and we couldn't have been more pleased! The location was perfect in that we were blocks away from restaurants, shops, and a great big playground/park in downtown Blowing Rock. The suite itself had essentially a galley kitchen (perfect for families), a huge bathroom and master bedroom. Everything was lovely... More

Perfect location and really cute rooms! This hotel is really convenient to walk almost everywhere in Blowing Rock. The staff was eager to help. It's my favorite place to stay in Blowing Rock. I highly recommend it.

We spent one night there and enjoyed the inn very much. Great location within 1 block of Main Street. Room very clean and beds fine. Free parking right in front of your room. Love the rocking chairs outside the door to rooms. Quiet area. Includes breakfast which was coffee/juice and fresh bagels which was fine with us because we are... More

I was very pleased with this motel room. It is not an Inn, in that it has outside doors to each room. But we didn't care about that, just made it easier to unpack and pack. It was a lovely, comfortable room. It is a few blocks to restaurants etc, on the main street. And a half mile or so... More

We were fortunate to be upgraded to a suite with a separate bedroom, microwave, frig, and fireplace. There's an adequate breakfast and a nice afternoon wine and cheese time. You can walk into town and visit the lovely gallery shops and restaurants. Staff is friendly and aims to please guests. Very pleasant place to stay.
