This is my regular choice in Blowing Rock when it has available rooms. The accomodations are comfortable, the breakfasts PERFECT, and the proprietor a wonderful and very gracious host. I travel extensively, and have found few B&Bs that begin to compare to this beautiful spot. more
My husband and I stayed with the Stone Pillar in mid-September while on a furniture-buying trip to Hickory/Lenoir, NC. The inn occupies an 80-year-old house and is in excellent condition.
