What a nice "getaway" place. If you love the Blue Ridge Parkway this is a perfect place to stay. The Ridgeway Inn is right downtown Blowing Rock. Minutes from the Parkway. Once parked you can walk to everything. Nice comfortable beds and tastefully done. I agree, there was a little "road noise"….request a room towards the back of the parking... More

I don't need a lot in a hotel room; comfortable bed, clean bathrooms, a tv for late night viewing. It is noted that Ridgeway Inn is the first inn in Blowing Rock. It has obviously undergone some renovation and updating... but. There is a big "but" here for me. But, Ridgeway Inn did not give the value I expected. With... More

We found this motel to be comfortable and conveniently located in downtown Blowing Rock. It was old, but fit the mountain aesthetic. Our beds were quite comfortable with nice thick comforters and lots of pillows. This place was a pretty fair price for its location. We did however have a little problem with our room that I think would not... More

The location is excellent - right by the park, shops and restaurants. The inn is very clean and the staff friendly & accomodating. The brochure, although technically accurate, may lead you to believe it is something more than a converted motel. The rooms are adequate size for two, but there are some quirks like a tiny window AC which wasn't... More

We went during the coldest time of the year ever. Had a fireplace so that was nice with a little wine to relax with. We could walk everywhere in Blowing Rock so that was handy. The owners were nice, very accommodating and everyone in our party felt right at home. We even had a huge hot-tub styled bathtub. Nice after... More

Ridgeway Inn was a special treat after staying at bigger brand hotels which were a disappointment. The rooms are a lot more sound proof then most , very well presented and breakfasts were better then others I have experienced - thank goodness we at least has paper plates and not styrofoam ! We had a wonderful time and the beds... More

We spent 2 nights with friends. We had a simple room, not the more attractive rooms seen on the website. Blowing Rock is a small, walkable village with picturesque homes and other buildings. Ridgeway Inn is right in very easy walking distance of everything. Our room was stuck in a dark corner, but that didn't matter. It was very comfortable.... More

There are plenty of places to stay in Blowing Rock. We just happened to choose the Ridgeway. Nice bed. Wine and cheese in the evening and enough food in the morning if you are not too hungry. Good food around town and easy walking to shops and parks. Wi-Fi worked and large tv channel selection.

The pictures do not do this little inn justice. It is just adorable. My friends and I stayed in the Wauhonhasee Suite, and it was very spacious with a living area, a small kitchen, a separate bedroom, and a HUGE private deck. The whole suite is decorated beautifully and we just loved having our own private deck to hang out... More
