We are only reviewing the restaurant as we didn't stay in the inn. This is a "can't miss" restaurant. At least for the meals we had... fabulous! Everything was top-notch. Highly recommended.

Loved every minute of our stay at Crippen's from beautiful King size #6 to delicious country breakfast of eggs, bacon, grits and biscuits! Lovely hosts/hostesses, super friendly, attentive and clean with quaint old clawfooted tub/showers. Directly in town, so easy and convenient. Buying sister a gift certificate to go!

This is definitely a country b&b, with old sloping wood floors, rattling windows when it's windy, noisy plumbing, etc. If those things bother you, either bring some earplugs or go to a motel. Jimmy Crippen is the perfect host, making us feel like old friends. Lynn the breakfast cook (ooh, those grits!!) and housekeeper is like having coffee with your neighbor. I had a girlfriend getaway here, staying out in the cottage. Nice remodel!
