Only complaint was the stay was not long enough! Comfortable bed, great scenery and on-site dining. Check in was a breeze, the bath area was just right, and the breakfast buffet was terrific. We enjoyed walking around on the property and the proximity to the shops and restaurants in Blowing Rock.

I stayed in one of the Condos at Chetola lodge during a work conference. It is a very large site, but Condos are hidden away among forested areas, so there is always a sense of being 'away from it all'. The furnishings are excellent, very comfortable. Huge bathroom with jacuzzi in one of the bedrooms. The one thing which was... More

This is a beautiful resort in a beautiful area. My boyfriend and I went with another couple and stayed a week in one of the 2 BR Quail condos. The condo was very nice and had all the pots, pans, grill, dishes that we needed. Halfway through the week a rowdy family with screaming kids and adults who smoked cigarettes and "medicinal herbs"... My wife and I were recommended to visit this lovely place instead of going to the beach as we had planned. Our experience was just perfect. The room, the wonderful meal at Timberlake's Restaurant and the overall friendliness of the staff was great. Room: Clean, nicely decorated, large, and a very comfortable bed. Bath: Simply huge. It was quite and... More

Rented Ozark 304. The unit was very clean and recently renovated. The only negative was the kitchen was not very well stocked. No wine opener and few pots and pans. Cell service is a problem at the condo but not down at the resort.

The resort is very tastefully blended into the landscape, has excellent facilities with a good sized pool. The apartments are very comfortable, spacious and high quality. Walking distance into the town for an evening meal, if you want. Blowing Rock is a really nice spot, worth the stop off the Blue Ridge Parkway.

This is the 2nd year I am here for a business trip and I have to say that this place is beautiful. It is set in the mountains and has just about every outdoor activity you could possibly want to do. They have a great restaurant and a good wine selection. Downtown is awesome and you can't miss this great... More

Stayed 3 days in mid-August and had another fabulous time: booked the deluxe lodge room with balcony overlooking the lake. Room was clean, breakfasts were bountiful & slept well due to quiet and comfortable environment. You cannot beat the location of the Lodge for walking at Bass Lake or to the Outlet mall just around the corner! Got on the... More

This was a fishing destination and our group was two couples staying in a condo on the property. The condo was very nice with a wood burning fire place, balcony, whirlpool tub, full kitchen, and two bedrooms. The spa staff was very flexible and let us have extra time in the pool area because of our late arrival. The superlative... More
