We stayed in the Monet's Garden Room on March 14th 2015. A group of us 18 stayed in the Inn as part of year in celebration. I have not stayed in a lot of Inn's but was pleasantly surprised at the comfort and how quiet the rooms were. Our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the water and coke... More

This is our 4th visit and it is always exceptional .we stayed in the treehouse suite and it is wonderful. If you can't relax here, you can't relax anywhere. The staff is first class and the amenities are endless. The steam sauna is fantastic and the double fireplace is perfect. The breakfast was freshly cooked and the cookies at night are... More

Cozy rustic bed and breakfast. Large, unique rooms with fireplaces. Afternoon wine. Nice lounge area with fireplace. Excellent breakfast. Easy walk to downtown Blowing Rock. Especially nice in winter months. Convenient parking.

We stayed for three nights in February after always admiring the inn on visits to Blowing Rock. The inside and outside of the inn are charming and full of character. The room that we stayed in, the Camelot Suite, was quite large, it was very comfortable and nicely appointed. There is a gas fireplace in the room for use during... More

Recently my partner and I spent the evening at the Ragged Garden Inn. The room was beautiful and our dinner at their restaurant, The Best Cellar, was exceptional! The staff was extremely warm and friendly. They went out of their way to attend to our every need. Our experience was one we certainly hope to enjoy again; romantic, warm and... More

The hubby and I stayed for 2 nights in July for a couples getaway. It was perfect, the adjoining restaurant was also fabulous. Word to the wise- don't miss out on their amazing grits for breakfast. I've been trying to recreate them for months!

We spent one night at the ragged gardens. It only happened by chance. We wondered into the sleepy town of blowing rock simply on a whim, and happened to stumble upon this place. Since it was in the evening, we just wanted a place to stay. We fell in love with this place immediately. We will remember this place for... More

We spent two nights at The Inn while exploring western NC during the "leaf season". The building is a graceful, old structure that is loaded with character and elegance... beautifully-crafted wood and stone... no glass, no chrome, no cookie-cutter amenities! Our room was spacious, with an unusually-comfortable bed, a stone fireplace (gas), and a small balcony. We enjoyed the complementary... More

We spent the night for anniversary on October 18, 2014. The made to order breakfast on Sunday was wonderful. Wine and nibbles from 5 to 6 was terrific. Bed was super comfy. The only down side is that it is rather noisy until the restaurant closed sometime after 9pm. We will be back!

Very centrally located - nice B&B with great restaurant attached. Will def stay there again. Some parts show their age, but not to a level that is bothersome. Make dinner reservations early and request the table in the wine cellar.
