I can not say enough good things about this Hotel. The Owners were so very nice they made you feel so welcome. The rooms were very clean . The outside was so beautiful very well landscaped. It is so cozy and a great get away.

What more can you ask for? This roadside inn is along Main Street in Blowing Rock - a lovely town. Our room had a small, clean full bath, two double beds, a small desk, dresser, minifridge and nighttable. The beds were beautifully made - pillowed and welcoming. The room was lovely, quiet and there were chairs outside, as well as... More

Older motel, but upgraded. Very clean rooms and grounds, lovely landscape. Nice sitting area with fire pit which we enjoyed very much! Priced very well and the owners go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Convenient location, walking distance to downtown. Blowing Rock is a favorite of ours and visit as often I we can.

One of the best overnight stops on our months vacation in the U.S.A. Deborah and her husband were charming hosts and were very helpful with dining information and directions. Our only regret was that we could not spend more time on Blowing Rock and at Mountainaire Inn.

This review is long overdue, as I proposed to my fiance at the Mountainaire Inn this past April. Deborah and her husband were incredible. Knowing ahead of time what my plan was, Deborah made sure the event was unforgettable - she made sure her staff kept the secret until I could pop the question, snuck in the room after we... More

Our motorcycle trip from St. Louis through the Blue Ridge Parkway ended with a stay at The Mountainaire Inn and so glad we passed on stopping in Boone for a more quaint town, This endrd up being my favorite place along the way to stay. The owners made us feel completely at home as we sat by an evening bonfire.... More

We went up for a relaxing getaway for the weekend. We chose Mountainaire because of the reviews here. We stayed in the in the Inn and couldn't have been more pleased. We were greeted by Deborah and Guinness, a cute little friendly dog. She got wine glasses for us when I said we were going to have wine and relax.... More

Stayed for 2 nights on my way to my nephews wedding. Was warmly greeted and given reccomendatios of where to eat breakfast, get a packed lunch for my hikes and them where to eat dinner. Follow their suggestions and you will be well taken care of. As I am a light sleeper I requested a queen room that was at... More

Nice clean place to stay. Not the Hilton, if you want that you need to go find one. This is a very clean, quaint, convenient, restored version of a 1950's motel. The beds are comfortable and the rooms and baths are typical of the size of motels in the 50's and 60's. The owners live on sight and are very... More

Deborah was so accommodating when I called. Due to the weather or plans changed and they let us come in early. We stayed 2nights in cabin 3. Our girls loved the loft, it was perfect for them (7,9,13) the iron spiral staircase was fun. They played in the creek behind the house and we enjoyed the back and front porches.... More
