My daughter and I enjoyed our second stay this year at MI. We returned and stayed in the same room, we like the convienence of it... Even though the weekend was foggy, rainy and cool, and we didn't get to enjoy the fire pit as much due to the weather, we still had fun and enjoyed our stay! The owners... More

Despite miserable fog and rainy weather, our 2nd 2-night stay was as sweet and comfortable as the last one we enjoyed 4 years ago. Everything is so clean and cozy and it feels like you are all alone in your own little log cabin in the woods! Yet it is walking distance to everything, including great shops and dining. I'm... More

Blind rec from a friend did not disappoint. Great location walkable to all, fire pit with comfy chairs, clean and nice rooms. Innkeeper even gave us local directions for our day of off road motorcycling. Can't say enough about this good value in a cool little town

On short notice we stopped in Blowing Rock on our way south along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Relying on TripAdvisor recommendations we inquired at the Mountainview Inn and Log Cabins about accommodations and were told they were fully booked but could offer us an offsite cabin at a rate of $195. per night. Given that it was late and we... More

A lovely stay. Very clean room and owners friendly and helpful. Location is great. You can walk to shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay here if we visit again. The firepit was my favorite thing. Everyone enjoyed the fire and just sitting and talking with the other guests.

We stayed in Kings Room #7 and it was too cute. The atmosphere was inviting and the staff was very accommodating. Great location. Close to a variety of shops and an outlet mall nearby. My only concern was the tight parking.

We stayed in the Sweetheart Cabin. A small, cozy cabin with a kitchenette, large whirlpool bathtub, wood-burning fireplace and a porch out back. The one queen bed was a bit cramped for us but not a problem at all. Ideal location, around the corner from Main Street and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Exactly what we were looking... More

We stayed here over 40 years ago as part of our honeymoon , and come back about every year. We have seen positive changes and several Innkeepers, but the current ones, Jim and Deb McDowell, do a wonderful job, and always make us feel welcomed and special. On top of all that, it's a great location for the beautiful village... More

We stayed on river cabin #3 and boy was it lively. The rooms were large and cozy.... Kitchen beautiful Nd well stocked.... Front pirch swing and rustic chairs were very nice.
