A great place to stay and even better to eat there. Black Mountain is a great little town with lots to do and near Asheville.. You can walk to town. The B&B is great and the restaurant is fabulous for both breakfast and dinner. You need to tell them that you want to eat dinner so you will have a... More

The rooms were spacious, quaint, and very clean. The atmosphere was relaxing and the owners were very accommodating and friendly. We immediately felt welcome. The food was fabulous for dinner and breakfast. We have recommended the Red Rocker Inn to our friends and family. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was scrumptious and homemade....super fluffy biscuits, fresh granola with yogurt and fruit, gourmet breakfast casserole, orange cream-cheese french toast with maple cream (had to have 2 of those!) and much more. Everything cooked to perfection. Coffee was robust. Definitely worth the $12. They fit us in even though we hadn't spent the night there.

We try to get up to the Red Rocker a few times each year. It is a wonderful getaway, plus it feels like we are at "home." Doug is an exemplary innkeeper. The rooms are wonderfully attended, bed comfie, good blankets, lighting, towels, soaps, hot water, etc.... The coffee and cookies keep rolling out during the day, and you will... More

Called last minute & was lucky enough to snag the Old North room for an impromtu mother/daughter trip to the mountains. The owners Jenny & Doug are very welcoming and gracious hosts - - they were friendly and very accomodating, made us feel right at home. Our room was on the smaller side but the bathroom was quite large and... More

Came for breakfast after being highly recommended. Lovely setting, great hosts, and delicious food. I could eat that bacon every day! Well prepared, very relaxing, and amazing good. Will be back next year!

The Inn in located right on N Dougherty St in historic downtown Black Mountain. It is walking distance to all the shops, dinning and local museum. The desert is to die for. Make sure you have a buddy to share, since portions are very generous!

We recently spent 3 nights at the Red Rocker Inn, and found the experience most enjoyable. We would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a bed and breakfast. The location is excellent, in that you can make day excursions to local attractions. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Doug and Jenny took care of all of our... More

Found this Inn last minute near my daughter's camp, and they were incredibly friendly and welcoming! Breakfast was very good, and while wireless wasn't exactly spot-on in my room, they were gracious enough to let me use a side-room for privacy during my meetings so I can more continuous wi-fi. Overall a very positive experience and well worth the price!
