Though we hadn't stayed at the Red Rocker Inn for nearly 25 years, the owners Jenny and Doug made the experience a welcomed rest and wonderful experience. Not only were the accommodations second to none, but the food was as remembered--marvelous! Never having met the new to us owners of the Inn (they have been there over 7 years), my... More

This is my 4th or 5th stay at this fabulous Bed and Breakfast. The owners, Jenny and Doug ate devoted to making their guests feel at home in their warm, Southern country decorated, clean welcing home. The food they cook In their restaurant is 5 star. It is on the premises and each morning the put put a real Southern... More

This was our second time to have dinner with family and friends since November. The service was great and food delicious. We started with hush puppies, cheese tray, and spinach dip. It was followed by hot biscuits with pumpkin and apple sauce. We all had a variety of steaks, trout, salads and numerous deserts. We had a party of 7... More

Inn owners, Doug and Jenny, were the ultimate hosts. This family owned Inn was charming, comfortable and affordable. There is a variety of room styles and sizes to fit any budget. The food is fantastic as Doug and Jenny's daughter is a chef and is involved with the meal planning and preparation. I would suggest staying on the 2nd or... More

What a wonderful Bed and Breakfast. Doug and Jenny Bowman are delightful people who work hard to ensure their guests are comfortable and enjoying their stay! Their warm hospitality and awesome food dishes make the Red Rocker Inn our favorite mountain get away place. The location is perfect. We parked our car when we arrived and walked everywhere we went.... More

Wished Dustin of Jacksonville FL's review had been available when we booked. Pros 1. Beautiful neighborhood, lovely property, located close to town 2. Delicious breakfast 3. Nice front porch Cons 1. Stayed in one of rooms on ground floor- big mistake- back door slamming/guests talking late into night and early morning 2. Room very small, decor outdated, walls very thin.... More

While this review is a little late, we stayed at the Red Rocker Inn from 10/18 thru the 10/21/2014. What a pleasant experience. Doug and Jennie are gracious hosts and were very engaging. Our 1st night there we decided to eat in the restaurant, which proved to be an enjoyable experience. We all (there were 4 of us) enjoyed our... More

This was our third Thankgiving at the Red Rocker Inn and our fifth stay here. We love it, from the wonderful Inkeepers, who treat you like family, comfortable rooms and most delicious meals. Bring your appetite because breakfast is outstanding and there are so many choices that you are set for the day. Everything is delicious and if you don't... More

We recently stayed here for 2 nights and we were very tired by the time we left. We stayed in the Music room on the first floor which is located near the back door. Unfortunately numerous people use the back door to enter/exit the Inn. The front door is actually locked at 10:00 P.M. so you MUST use the back... More
