This is an Inn. If I wanted to stay at the Biltmore House hotel, that's an open option. The Inn is quiet, comfortable and cozy. The Innkeepers make you part of their family. The Dining Room is known in the area as a top spot to eat, and we were delighted. Our room had a King bed and a fireplace,... More

All different sizes of rooms. Cute Country motif. Bathroom's can be small. Ask based on your needs. The restaurant is Fabulous! Breakfast is excellent. 5 star dining. No TV's in room. One old one in front den. It has it benefits! Close to town. Can walk easily to other nice restaurant's and cool shopping.

The Red Rocker Inn in Black Mountain is a place you will return to each time you return to visit the mountains. A large old home converted to an inn, the Red Rocker sits on a quiet street in the small town of Black Mountain. Each room is unique, but all are comfortable and welcoming. The only television is downstairs... More

My husband & I have been to the Red Rocker Inn many times over the years & I can say without qualification that it is a great value. The owners, Doug & Jenny are terrific & make you feel right at home. The Inn is very well located within walking distance to downtown Black Mountain shops & several restaurants. There... More

We recently stayed overnight in Black Mountain and chose the Red Rocker Inn on a recommendation by a relative. Doug and Jenny were the most gracious hosts and made us feel comfortable and at home immediately. After we checked in, it was just a short walk to downtown Black Mountain where we sat outside and ate lunch while listening to... More

Hi! Thanks for the nice review. We're sure glad you enjoyed your stay at The Red Rocker Inn and had some time to explore the charming town of Black Mountain. There really is nowhere else quite like it! You mentioned your room was somewhat dated. We agree! So room by room we've been redecorating, and updating, and improving the look... More

On vacation in Black Mountain, we ate breakfast at the Red Rocker. Jenny & Doug made us feel at home and took us on a tour of their beautiful inn. The chocolate espresso muffins were divine, and the homemade french toast and fruit compote was so good. We will definitely be back to stay a few nights.

We chose to spend our 46th wedding anniversary at the Red Rocker Inn and it was perfect! We had never stayed there before but are familiar with Black Mountain and the surrounding area. From the welcoming champagne and chocolate-dipped strawberries to the wonderful dinner and the fantastic Blue Ridge suite, I would not have changed a thing. The king-sized bed... More

I only got to stay one night, but will make a return visit. The owners are very nice and do everything they can to make your stay exceptional. The breakfast was a buffet full of many home made dishes. If it wasn't there they cooked it for you. Very nice stay!

What a lovely place ! I am picky about my B&B's but this is at the top of my list ! This B&B looks like something out of a Norman Rockwell painting.
