Inn owners, Doug and Jenny, were the ultimate hosts. This family owned Inn was charming, comfortable and affordable. There is a variety of room styles and sizes to fit any budget. The food is fantastic as Doug and Jenny's daughter is a chef and is involved with the meal planning and preparation. I would suggest staying on the 2nd or... More

What a wonderful Bed and Breakfast. Doug and Jenny Bowman are delightful people who work hard to ensure their guests are comfortable and enjoying their stay! Their warm hospitality and awesome food dishes make the Red Rocker Inn our favorite mountain get away place. The location is perfect. We parked our car when we arrived and walked everywhere we went.... More

Wished Dustin of Jacksonville FL's review had been available when we booked. Pros 1. Beautiful neighborhood, lovely property, located close to town 2. Delicious breakfast 3. Nice front porch Cons 1. Stayed in one of rooms on ground floor- big mistake- back door slamming/guests talking late into night and early morning 2. Room very small, decor outdated, walls very thin.... More

While this review is a little late, we stayed at the Red Rocker Inn from 10/18 thru the 10/21/2014. What a pleasant experience. Doug and Jennie are gracious hosts and were very engaging. Our 1st night there we decided to eat in the restaurant, which proved to be an enjoyable experience. We all (there were 4 of us) enjoyed our... More

This was our third Thankgiving at the Red Rocker Inn and our fifth stay here. We love it, from the wonderful Inkeepers, who treat you like family, comfortable rooms and most delicious meals. Bring your appetite because breakfast is outstanding and there are so many choices that you are set for the day. Everything is delicious and if you don't... More

We recently stayed here for 2 nights and we were very tired by the time we left. We stayed in the Music room on the first floor which is located near the back door. Unfortunately numerous people use the back door to enter/exit the Inn. The front door is actually locked at 10:00 P.M. so you MUST use the back... More

This is one of the best B & B's EVER !! This is because of the Innkeepers Ginny and Doug - they are wonderful people - in fact the whole staff is wonderful. If we want a great get away we always choose The Red Rocker Inn. And the food is always sooo delicious. It is homemade and just sooo... More

We found this delightful B&B in Black Mountain just weeks before our leaf peeping trip. There are beautiful trees to enjoy from the comfort of red rocking chairs on the porch. Also a nice place to meet other guests before breakfast. Coffee is available early making the wait for breakfast at 8:30 no problem. The food was delicious and made... More

Absolutely loved staying here. My fiance and I stayed in the Savannah room. We enjoyed sitting in front of the in room fireplace each night. The inn keepers are fantastic and the breakfast was amazing. We particularly enjoyed the French toast casserole. The inn is about 20 min from Ashville. We enjoyed staying here so much that we were sad... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in October. Unfortunately, our room (the Music Room) was in the noisiest section of the Inn as it was near the kitchen, restaurant restrooms, and on the other side of our bedroom wall was the main dining room. Needless to say, we heard lots of pots and pans from the kitchen... More
