Andy & Karen are gracioius hosts. They restored their Water St. water view manor from the bottom to top with quality, craftspersonship and a lot of love and a few laughs. Cool summer rooms with private warm showers and endless fluffy cotton towels. 1 room has a whirlpool bath and if you want privacy there is a (pottery)studio apt. in... More

It was my husband's first B & B experience and it was a very enjoyable one. We would definitely make a return visit. The breakfast was large enough to hold us until suppertime. The owners were just super!

Pros: The room was nicely decorated and comfortable. The location can not be beat .. across from the water, walking distance to restaurants. The innkeepers are nice people and have good information about the area. The food is excellent and plentiful. Cons: Be aware that the common areas described are part of the innkeepers living area. So they are usually... More

My wife and I were travelling down the coast on the way to Charleston and we were wise enough to stay with Karen and Andy for a nights accommodation. Lovely people in excellent accommodation who provided us with a magnificent breakfast. If we are ever in this area again we are coming back here.

My friend at and I stayed at the Belhaven B&B at the end of December, 2013. The room was so, so clean and comfortable. I slept like a rock on the bed! The house looked so pretty, all decorated for Christmas and we really enjoyed our dinner at The Tavern. Karen and Andy (the owners of the B&B) were delightful... More

We spent 3 nights here while scouting out the area around Lake Mattamuskeet for a future trip. The hosts were very welcoming and the rooms comfortable and have a gas fireplace in each room. We stayed in the "Sage" room, the larger of the 2 upstairs. An even larger room is on the first floor that has a jacuzzi. It... More

We will stay here again next visit to Belhaven, a small but friendly and charming town. Spent one night at the B&B and was impressed with the care and hospitality! Andy and Karen are great hosts, gracious and interesting folks. The rooms were well appointed with comfortable bed, nice linens and plenty of towels. The absence of a TV is more style I think for them as the whole area lends itself to escape! I didn't... More

A recent trip to the small village of Belhaven, NC, was made all the better by the Belhaven Water Street Bed and Breakfast. The room was decorated in Victorian style, with holiday accents to add to the season. A small and beautiful gas fireplace warmed the room, and the bed enveloped the visitor in thick comfort. Coffee was ready in... More
