Booked a last minute trip to this lovely hotel. I had no idea what to expect of the hotel or the location. We checked in and Steve was there to greet us. He and the rest of the staff we came in contact with were wonderful! The hotel sits on this incredible piece of property with unbelievable views. The rooms... More

I selected Beech Alpen Inn based on the view, price, and accommodations. Steve, the inn keepers was extremely helpful with giving us advice on weather conditions the day before traveling to Beech Mountain. Steve was even more patient with us on our very late arrival. The apartment we rented was very large and had all the amenities needed for our... More

I rarely complain but this one is a must. I came here for a two day getaway and was very surprised as to what I experienced . I arrived at the hotel (Beech Mountain Inn… Top of the Mountain) and found that there is no lobby, nor was there anyone at the front office to check us in. I went... More

I have mixed feelings about this Hotel. First the good. Older property that is very well maintained and very clean with great breakfast. The bad : from the moment of arrival not made to feel welcome. Not even basic manners. I asked about staying on Sunday and was given the same rate as Friday and Saturday and went on the hotels... More

We had a wonderful experience August 2014 when our daughter got married at the Land of Oz. The staff was so friendly and extremely accommodating AND welcoming! Steve, the manager couldn't have been more helpful. The restaurant/bar provided great food and service. Can't wait to return

This is an older property that has been well maintained. The hotel has a variety of rooms for any size group. The restaurant has good food at a reasonable price. We stayed there for the Oz Festival and the hotel was full. The employees were attentive and the rooms were well kept.

We went for the Sunday night music. Lucky Strikes were extremely talented musicians with a diverse repertoire of songs. The food was excellent and the view is incredible. We had a most enjoyable evening. We look forward to doing it again next Sunday.

Loved - loved - loved this place!!The owner is onsite and goes out if his way to make your stay perfect. The restaurant and bar are perfect for relaxing in after a day of hiking the local trails. The fresh and cool mountain air is a welcome break from the summer heat. There are several other restaurants nearby too. The... More

This Inn is located at the top of the mountain. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. They offer rooms with fireplaces in them. There are very limited rooms in peak season so call before you book anything. There are plenty of places to buy munches or rent equipment for your favorite activity. There are a lot of local... More
