Stayed here back in December of 2011 and wish we stayed there again, but needed to be closer to family when in the area. Quant place that offers lots of options for accommodations and even for larger parties. We stayed in their Greyhound Flats room and there were 6 of us in our party. Great space for a party of... My husband and I stayed at the Beaufort in 1990 and 1991 and returned to find that the place hasn't changed one bit- not even the decor. But it was lovely, in spite of the dated decor. We had two rooms on the 3rd floor over looking the river. It was great fun to sit on porch and watch the... More

Visiting family staying here, we had a suite with large living room with pull out sofabed and granite kitchen separate from king size bedroom, both having porches to the water/canal, views to fishermen bringing in their catch, drawbridge activity, canoe and kayakers even a pod of porpoises (10-15). 5 minute walk to great waterfront dining and fun outdoor seating at... Have stayed at the Beaufort Inn several times. It is nothing fancy but the staff is friendly and the location is a perfect base for exploring Beaufort if you don't want to drive. The beds are comfortable but the "queen" rooms are actually "full" beds, not queen. (Unless I missed something in the description.) The breakfast is pretty generic, but... More

We stayed at the Beaufort Inn over 4th of July weekend. For a holiday weekend at the coast, the Inn was reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and available when we needed them. I would describe the breakfast as between a continental style and B&B. Don't expect a typical B&B breakfast. Our room had a view of the sound,... More

My husband and myself stayed at the Beaufort Inn for a long weekend of sun and fun. Well we did not see the sun the whole time we were there but we still had a great time. If you read the reviews you will know what to expect. A charming Inn on the waterway and not a bed-n-breakfast. We arrived... More

Convenient to historical Beaufort, NC - you can easily walk to the waterfront or old town section. Right on the water facing several fishing docks, so a water facing room, complete with rockers provides great entertainment as the boats load and unload. Also saw several porpoises going up river. Room was comfortable with upscaled furnishings, fridge, coffee maker, and microwave.... More

My husband and I took a last minute trip to Beaufort, not knowing exactly where we would stay. We pulled up to the Beaufort Inn and I knew this was where I wanted to stay. It is on a waterway and has a excellent view of the sunset. They offer breakfast for guests and they have a hot tub, boat... More

Very conveniently situated to all the restaurants and our room was clean and the bed reasonably comfortable but the breakfast let it down badly; a very limited choice of poor quality food was on offer, everything was heated in a microwave in a very small room off the dining area, there were no fresh meats, cheese eggs or bacon on... The reviews posted list this as a Bed and Breakfast, but let me be clear: unless you are a senior citizen and used to eating an English muffin or store bought Danish for breakfast, this is not a B&B. I'm from New England where a B&B/innkeeper cooks a fresh breakfast for you, not a college kid toasting up a piece... More
