Let me start by saying that I really did expect so much more from the Beaufort Inn than what I received. We have had friends that have been staying at the Inn for years and we needed some extra room this weekend because our house was full. We rented one room for three nights and one suite for three nights.... more

The hotel is in a great location as you can walk to Front St. (5 blocks) and it is shaded most of the way. There is no "restaurant" at the hotel and certainly no bar with any big screen for you males out there in search of sports. The "free" breakfast "Katie's Special" is the same thing every day: sausage,... more

We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful in recommending great local restaurants who have great seafood, The hotel has a great location, close to downtown Beaufort. The view of the harbor is beautiful. However, the hotel desperately needs to provide a better quality mattress - a pillow top mattress. My husband and I felt like we were... more

We agree that the location is excellent. Also, the hotel offers several nice amenities such as tea and cookies in the afternoon. However, they have too many rules and are not flexible. For example, guests must leave newspapers in the dining area until 10, and receipts for leaving are not issued until keys are in even though the hostess was... more

Because it is located in my hometown, I know I am at least a little biased but the Beaufort Inn is a wonderful place to stay. My wife and I live in the Raleigh/Durham Area but from time to time, we like to take get away vacations back home to Beaufort. A stay at the Beaufort Inn always makes us... more

The Beaufort Inn was clean and neat, had a lovely jacuzzi and was in a great location to the town. But it was overly prissy. When checking in, after being told over the phone that they had a AAA discount, I was then told not on this weekend as it was Easter. When I explained that I was told about... more

My wife and I recently spent a weekend at the Beaufort Inn, tucked away at the end of a quiet residential street in bucolic Beaufort, NC. Our stay began at the registration dest where we were chastened like sixth graders by the desk clerk, a thirty-something gentleman who acted as if we were at best a bother and at worst,... more

We found this property to be somewhat depressing. The decor seemed circa 1960 and the inn circa 1970? Beaufort is a cute historical town with homes from the 1700-1800s but the decor of this inn (Early American) dark wood, very dark navy carpeting, yucky cheap sofa, slippery poly bedspread etc was kind of depressing. The bathroom, while clean, was tiny... more

My husband and I spent a long weekend in lovely, historical Beaufort, NC. We stayed at the Beaufort Inn which was more like a bed and breakfast then a hotel. It is located on the water in the historic district which means you are within walking distance of many attractions. Our room was spacious, very clean, and had a small... more

Our extended family stayed at this property from Aug 17-18, 2007. We were given two connecting rooms as requested. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. This hotel sits on the water looking across to a commercial boat company. The docks at the hotel are best used at high tide but a group that was there was able to... more
