Take those negative reviews with a grain of salt. The Inn's appearance is in keeping with the ambience of the town. Beaufort is a quaint, easily walkable, fishing village and the Inn fits right in--handy to everything, yet in a quiet area. Our room was on the 3rd floor, water side. This side faces west, so the sunset was perfect.... more

My husband and one year old traveled to the boat show in Beaufort. He had stayed in the Inn last year and we returned because he had nothing but great things to say. It is within walking distance to the downtown shops and restraunts. The view from the balcony was a colorful sunset. Someone had mentioned noise from the bridge---... more

It is quaint and lovely and any negative comments on this Inn would be coming from the competition. The Inn was clean, lovely and the rooms were spacious, and very nice. The furniture and decor suited the room. The view couldn't have been nicer from the balcony. The location of the hotel was very good, close to everything, yet in... more

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Beaufort Inn recently on our way north from Savannah. We asked for the a non-water front room and the AAA rate which we were given. We were checked in by an "older" gentleman who may or may not have been the owner, and he couldn't have been nicer or more helpful.... more

My critique of the Beaufort Inn will be on the Inn as a whole and our room, which was a 2 bed waterfront. The overall appearance of the Inn is pleasing and clean. All of the staff were friendly and helpful except for a grumpy older man{owner?}. Our room was on the second level and overlooked the water. I would... more

Don't believe the hype! In regards to the negative things written about this B & B, it appears the management may have taken the criticisms to heart. During our recent visit, there were NO signs up anywhere in the property detailing what one could or could not do, and no one was "persnickety," nor rude with us, including the co-owner... more

This is a great place to stay for adults or older teens wanting to be within walking distance to town and driving distance to many different attractions. Except for the noise from the traffic over the drawbridge (which we were able to ignore after a while), it is a very quiet and peaceful place. The staff was very helpful and... more

The hotel was pretty on the outside. When we got there we were greeted by a very nice young women. All the employees I met were extremely nice. But the rooms were pretty outdated. They looked like they were put together in the 70s and they smelled the same. I had to leave the door open to the balcony just... more

Wow, I am really surprised by some of the reviews below. This place is fantastic. My husband and I had a huge room right on the waterfront and near the hottub. The staff couldn't have been more friendly. I even met the owner and found him charming, so not sure how anyone could say they didn't like him... We started... more

My husband and I are glad that we did not read a few of the reviews on this site before we called for reservations. If we had we might have missed out on one of the best stays we have had in all of our years of traveling. We spent a relaxing, contented time with all of the amenities we... more
