Just spent a fantastic weekend in Beaufort, NC, at the Pecan Tree Inn. As the saying goes, "location, location, location"! The proximity to the downtown area is what drew us to the Pecan Tree Inn and we are so glad it did. Some of the Tripadvisor reviews were mixed so we were a little apprehensive but we were very pleasantly... More

This former Mason Lodge, was a real treat. Our room was beautiful with a very large King Size bed, jacuzzi and a SUPER shower. The only negative thing was the alcove where the toilet was. It was REALLY sloped but more importantly, spongy. There certainly needs to be some work done there. Sherry took care of us at every turn.... More

I reserved the Cape Lookout Room at the Pecan Tree Inn for a 10th anniversary for the upcomming weekend. When I reserved, the owner was real quick to tell me that since the reservation was less than a week out and if he could not sell the room, I would not be able to cancel. He charged my card immediately... More

It is disheartening to hear that one of our guests had such a bad time of it. I have sent her a voucher equal in value to the deposit she paid. We would have gladly cancelled the reservation and refunded the deposit had she told us before leaving home that she was sick, but she didn’t. We would discourage someone... More

Stayed there 2 nights last week, host was quite helpful. Continental breakfast was fine and room was comfortable. Central location is good for walking to restaurants. Overall experience was excellant, will definately go back. Bz

We just returned from our stay at the Pecan Tree Inn. Reading through other reviews and various websites about Beaufort B and Bs, we thought we had made the best choice in accomodations. The inn itself is perfectly charming and extremely comfortable...The bed in the Blue Room was exquisite! I am an early riser, and thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the front... More

I am distressed by this review, as I am by any report that a guest of ours has not enjoyed her stay. I am also mystified to see this particular stay portrayed in a way that does not match the facts as I know them, and certainly is missing some context. This guest booked two rooms for two couples for... More

What a great location....just enough off the main drag to feel residential---perfect spot. Very clean and neat, great parking, and lovely grounds. Two restaurants right across the street. I'd return, and would encourage friends to do so as well. Jo Anne S.

My husband and I were lucky enough to get a room at the B&B Pecan Tree Inn in Beaufort, North Carolina. It is centrally located in this wonderful seaside town - across the street from two very fine restaurants, and walking distance to everything else you could possible want. The owners - Sherry and Dave could not have done anything... More

We recently spent two nights at the Pecan Tree Inn B&B on Queen Street and have definitely decided we will never return there again. The inn does have some features that are positive. For one, it has adequate off road parking. It allows you to get your car off a very busy one way street. It was clean. And, I... More

I am truly sorry that the writer did not enjoy his stay with us. Contrary to his assumption, we do care very much about giving our guests good value and making their stay in Beaufort one to remember warmly. We take criticism seriously and, over the 12 years of our ownership, have made a number of improvements as a result... More

Very friendly staff; Dave & Sherry. Room was spacious, clean and had two person Jacuzzi. Comfortable bed. The breakfast is not gourmet, but it is good enough to start off the day. There is on site parking and it is within walking distance of all the fine restaurants in Beaufort (Bowfort).

Staying during a cool spell in December, we found our room uncomfortably cold and the common areas quite warm. There is no separate temperature control for the room. Considering the high pricing of the rooms, the continental breakfast provided seems cheap. We stayed here before, some years back, and my recollection is they then provided a full breakfast with some... More
