My wife and I stayed at the Pecan Tree Inn for only one night as we celebrated our anniversary. It is an excellent B&B; centrally located in Beaufort NC with wonderfully attentive management. It was the off season so it was very quiet and it allowed us the opportunity to get to know the inn keeper a bit. A wonderful... More

My husband and I stayed there one night this November. It was our first trip to Beaufort and the relaxed welcome from the host was in keeping with Beaufort itself in winter. The decor in the two rooms we saw had been tastefully put together. We were given a tour of the public areas by the host and invited to... More

A delightful inn, with a welcoming and professional innkeeper, whose attention to detail is second to none. The rooms are well-appointed, comfortable, with great beds, clean, efficient showers, and lots of choices at breakfast. Steps away from the beautiful Beaufort waterfront. My wife and I (and our two friends) loved our time here, and vowed to return.

We only stayed one night which I regret because it was really a great place to stay in a cute little seaside town. Our room was on the first floor (there is only one room on first floor, but I recommend it). It had a sweet bay window and was easy access if anyone in your party is slightly handicapped.... More

Lovely B & B in a historic home less than a block from the beautiful Beaufort waterfront. We have stayed there several times and it never disappoints. We have stayed in three different rooms and have enjoyed them all. Good continental breakfast, very friendly service. Highly recommend for a peaceful weekend in a great town.

Spent a single night here on our way traveling along the NC coast. This is a well kept 150 year old inn right in the heart of Beaufort's historic downtown and about a block from the waterfront. We were met by Sherry the caretaker of the property. She was happy to provide us with all the details we needed for... More

Just spent a fantastic weekend in Beaufort, NC, at the Pecan Tree Inn. As the saying goes, "location, location, location"! The proximity to the downtown area is what drew us to the Pecan Tree Inn and we are so glad it did. Some of the Tripadvisor reviews were mixed so we were a little apprehensive but we were very pleasantly... More

This former Mason Lodge, was a real treat. Our room was beautiful with a very large King Size bed, jacuzzi and a SUPER shower. The only negative thing was the alcove where the toilet was. It was REALLY sloped but more importantly, spongy. There certainly needs to be some work done there. Sherry took care of us at every turn.... More

I reserved the Cape Lookout Room at the Pecan Tree Inn for a 10th anniversary for the upcomming weekend. When I reserved, the owner was real quick to tell me that since the reservation was less than a week out and if he could not sell the room, I would not be able to cancel. He charged my card immediately... More

It is disheartening to hear that one of our guests had such a bad time of it. I have sent her a voucher equal in value to the deposit she paid. We would have gladly cancelled the reservation and refunded the deposit had she told us before leaving home that she was sick, but she didn’t. We would discourage someone... More
