Driving south along the coast in North Carolina, we stopped in the little town of Beaufort and found the main street to be very quaint and welcoming. After walking around the town and visiting some of the shops and museums, we decided to stay the night and found the Inlet Inn conveniently located downtown. The room was spacious and comfortable... We hadn't done our homework before arriving in Beaufort on a whim, so we drove around using our GPS navigator to tour the area. We stayed only one night (Thursday) because the Seafood Festival was that weekend and the entire area's hotels were booked. A great hotel, with clean rooms and a 1st floor balcony. The greatest perk is the... More

We stayed here for just one night. The hotel was recommended to us by one of the officers on the Ocracocke Island to Cedar Island. He overheard us discussing where to stay and suggested the Inlet Inn as he is a resident of Beaufort. It was a great choice and we loved the room that looked out onto the seafront... More

We spent four nights at the Inlet Inn on the recommendation from friends. We had an end room on the second floor. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed. I guess some rooms have been described as outdated, however we did not find that to be the case. Bright and cheerful with coastal decor. Bathroom had beautiful tile... More

My wife and I recently spent the weekend in Beaufort, NC, where we stayed at The Inlet Inn. It's a lovely little hotel, with a very friendly staff. We were not able to book one of the waterfront rooms, but ours was still very nice. We especially liked the built-in window seat! The hotel is in a great location, in... More

The Inlet Inn is a great place for a 2-4 day stay. The hotel is clean and well kept but older. Bathrooms and rooms show some wear. The location and View make the hotel!! Convenient to downtown Beaufort, local water tours and eateries. The room had a small fridge, coffee maker and clean comfortable beds. The hotel itself could use... More

We stayed in a third floor room with a window seat looking out onto the water. It was lovely, clean, and spacious. The breakfast was simple and delivered quickly to the room upon request. I found the beds to be very comfortable and they included aloe gel in the provided toiletries - a nice touch considering it is easy to... More

Recently stayed at the Inlet Inn for a 25th anniversary get away... The location is excellent in terms quick acces to all the shopping, restaurants and activities in the area. The room was clean and quiet but a little outdated. This was not a big deal for us and far outweighed by the location and overall charm. We would definitely... More

I stayed at the Inlet Inn by myself for a relaxing get-away. It was an amazing experience. The rooms were big and bright. I stayed in a waterfront room with a private patio... highly recommend this. The view of the water was fantastic and I enjoyed sitting in the rocking chair, watching the boats come in and out. You walk... More

The Inlet Inn was about half-way on our trip along the North and South Carolina coasts. How did they know I would be sunburned by then?? Seriously, I know it is a small thing, but the little container of Aloe Gel was a life-saver!!! What a great thing to offer in a coastal town! It was just what I needed.... More
