This inn is a nice place to stay while in Beaufort. Most have a waterfront view and the first two floors have private balconies with chairs and a table. The rooms are large with a sitting area that contains a sleeper sofa and refrigerator. The beds were fine but the pillows were like flat pancakes. That is not my preference,... More

We have been going to the Inlet Inn for several years. We have always enjoyed our stay. The rooms are very clean. The property is well manicured. Front office staff there to help in any way. Made suggestions on day trips. This place is small and rooms fill up fast so make your reservations well in advance. It is very... More

I like the casualness of the hotel, the large-sized rooms, and the fact that they still have metal keys instead of slide cards. The location is good. The beds are rock-hard and your feet get black if you walk barefoot on the rug. Also, they never told us at check-in that there was a free breakfast (which is a muffin... More

Relaxing, comfortable and walk to everywhere while paying a rate below what you would expect. You have the option of attending a morning continental breakfast or call service and have it delivered to your room. Only problem is this place is no longer an open secret so book early.

We had a reservation at the Inlet Inn. We were told check in was at 3:00, we had ask for a water front room. They gave us room 107 which is on the street not on the water the water is across busy Front Street. We requested a room on second floor but was told they had no other rooms.... More

It is rare that I am compelled to respond to a review, partially because we are fortunate to get so many positive reviews. However, the review by the Fvinoskys is so outrageous I must respond. For whatever reason these folks were unhappy from the time they walked in the door and seemed to be looking for any reason to get... More

Best location and views in Beaufort. All rooms are large and well appointed. We were in a waterfront room on the 3rd floor (easily accessible by elevator) which had nice high ceilings but no balcony. If you want a view and a seaside atmosphere, get a waterfront room on the first or 2nd floor as they have open air balconies... More

My husband and I visited Beaufort NC for the first time. Absolutely fell in love with the town but also the Inn. The Inn is so beautifully decorated, it reminded me of home. The rooms are spacious and quiet. It was very clean and comfortable. I loved the little extra touches such as the makeup remover towelettes and pocket sewing... More

Our room faced the water and the inn is right on Front Street! Everything was within walking distance from the hotel! The room was spacious, clean and so very comfortable. A nice continental breakfast was brought to our room, all we had to do was call for it! Bagels, big, fresh muffins, OJ, butter, cream cheese and jellies.

The first and second floor rooms have balconies overlooking the waterfront with great views. Within walking distance of shops and restaurants . Comfortable beds. The only downside is it allows smoking on the balconies which was an issue for us when we wanted to set outside and enjoy the view.

We stayed three nights and loved every second. It's the perfect location in BEAUFORT for the water views and historic district - easy walk everywhere. Our downstairs room was large with a king bed, comfortable sofa, chair, fireplace ($10 for first log, $5 thereafter), large private patio with full waterfront view (we saw the wild ponies twice from it). Bagels... More
