The Blueberry Villa was everything I hoped it would be.....it was elegant, eclectic, clean and cozy. If I had been with my boyfriend....it would have been very romantic. Nicely sized room and excellent breakfast. Pretty location, with great porch for relaxing. The innkeepers miss lots of details, however. For example, only 3 cheap plastic hangers in the room; no robes, no ice bucket, and no guide to use of inn facilities (for example, was the ice in the kitchen available for guests?). Thanks so much for our beautiful stay at Blueberry Villa and Banner Elk Winery. The mountain setting is gorgeous and the inn itself is lovely. The winery is just steps away, where we enjoyed a wine tasting while strolling the sunlit grounds, with live music in the background. Truly this was a very special place for our anniversary celebration. more
