Definitely a relaxing 4day stay in a beautiful, lodge It is an older property. The accommodations are clean and comfortable, but certainly rustic. Don't book expecting a fancy hotel by any means - it has a very "log cabin" feel to it. It was very spacious, but a few things could use some updating like the television, etc... There is also... I read several other reviews before writing this. My husband and I stayed at Archers Mountain Inn for two nights. It's located about a mile from the top of Beech Mtn on the same road. The Inn is older, and it is rustic with wood walls and ceiling. But it makes for a perfect mountain atmosphere. Our king sized bed... More

I planned a surprise trip with my sweetie and checked the calendar for the prime leaf changing time. Fortunately, room availability and leaves cooperated and the view from our room (Appalachian) was spectacular. We ate at on site Jackalope's for two nights. The waitperson for the first dinner was great but another waitperson for the second night was poor. The... More

We have stayed at this bed and breakfast before, but it has been awhile. It is an older property, and the word I would use to describe it is rustic, but we love it here. We stayed in the Presidential Suite, which is large with high ceilings and a HUGE fireplace, for which you can buy a fire starter and... More

The good news: big rooms with refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave and a table for 4 (good for board games and in-room eating and a wood-burning fire place. Spectacular views and great rockers on the porch to enjoy them. The bad news: the rooms are cabin-style dark (not my preference), housekeeping is lacking, and in our 3-day stay the Wi-Fi signal... In the wet and damp weather our cozy pine wood room was a very nice getaway. The hotel is nothing fancy but our room was clean and neat. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the rockers. The hotel is dog friendly so Chloe and Gus had an equally good time.

“Mountain weekend getaway ”We stayed at Archers Mountain in for a weekend getaway. When booking, we did our research and chose the Appalachian room located on the second floor with high wood beam ceilings, a stone fireplace (which we were able to enjoy) and a deck overlooking the valley with two rocking chairs. In addition we had dinner at their... More

The food at this establishment is very good but everything else was sub par. Do not plan a large function at this venue. They have serious communication issues with clients and among themselves as to what is going to happen. We drove over 6 hours to meet with them initially and the person didn't make the appointment. We waited for... More
