Blue Ridge Village is in the town of Banner Elk, making it anywhere from 20 to 35 minutes from most of the actual attractions in the area. Banner Elk itself is a very small town which has quite limited restaurants, shops, etc., but still provides the basics in terms of supermarkets and one or two decent restaurants within 5 or... More

Spent three nights in a two Bdr unit. We were just an 8 minute drive from Sugar Mountain lifts. I was with wife, grandson & friend of his. Master Bdr had king and large bathroom. Second Bdr had two double beds and nice bath. Had gas fireplace in living room. Kitchen was well equipped. I am 73 & at Sugar... More

We booked a 1 bedroom studio condo through bookit.com. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the condo was. It had cozy decor, a gas fireplace, full kitchen, and very comfortable bed! It is 5 minutes from Sugar mountain and Grandfather mountain. If you love the mountains, this is a great place to rent any time of year. We are... More

Amenities were nice, the suite came with a nice fire place and excellent views. The staff was very helpful and the location was central to all the neighboring ski spots. Wifi was a bit annoying as it kept going in and out, but on vacation that's not such a big deal. I would highly recommend visiting.

We were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable our 2 bedroom cabin was. We were checked in rather quickly and the room was very cozy with a beautiful fireplace that my kids could turn on and off by itself. The indoor swimming pool was also a great perk. We went for skiing and Sugar Mountain was 1.3 miles from the hotel.... More

We were looking for a chance to get away for leaf peeping. This resort was great. It is located among quaint mountain villages (Blowing Rock) and nearby Boone, NC offers the "big city" stores and amenities. There are several hiking trails in the area and the Blue Ridge Parkway is a window on nature. Our check-in helpers were polite and... More

The one bedroom was spacious and well furnished and appliances were good. We had snow starting when we arrived and it was snowing a week later when we left. We had good warm weather the middle of the week. Most of the nearby business were closed for the season. We still enjoyed our stay. We made day trips to Boone... More

Beware of the timeshare trap. I got a reduced rate in return for participating in a timeshare presentation from E tour. The presenter was the most unprofessional person I have ever met. Dressed like a bum and smacking gum. We complained and asked how much it would cost if we skipped out on the the presentation. We were told they... More

We visited this Festiva resort for a week in October, through our Global Discovery membership. While the property was okay, it isn’t quite up to snuff with some other resorts we’ve visited through Global. (Sedona Summit, Greensprings Resort in Williamsburg, White Oak Cabins in Gatlinburg, and Marina Village, Cape Coral.) The staff members were friendly and helpful. Check-in was quick... More

This is our first trip to Banner Elk and selected blue ridge festiva due to the cost and amenities . We have a very nice bedroom , living room with fireplace , full kitchen , dining room, washer and dryer,. The tub was a jacuzzi with shower in it. That was the only draw back. I have a bad back...
