The Village Green B&B is the perfect place to stay in Woodstock. The B&B is in the middle of the main strip with free parking in the back. When you step out the door, you are literally seconds from the shops and restaurants. The owner, Larry, is helpful if you need him, but otherwise makes himself scarce so you feel... More

What a perfect place to stay when visiting Woodstock. It is right downtown with its own parking area. You are within walking distance to just about everything there is to see and do. The rooms are upstairs so this could be a drawback, if you have trouble climbing stairs. The Brook Room was cozy with its own bathroom. Just down... More

The Village Green B&B is in the BEST location for Woodstock. The Green Room is huge, and right next to a well-stoked pantry, offering everything a visitor could need for breakfast or a light snack. The owners are so trusting with their property, I never actually met them! Check out the weekly drumming circle outside the property on a Sunday... More

I booked this room for 2 nights so I could visit my husband, who was doing a Byrdcliffe art residency for a month. The place is absolutely charming. It's on the second floor of a Victorian house, and there are only 2 rooms. There are tons of treats in the kitchen available to eat, both on the counters and in... More

I chanced upon this quaint B and B . it is actually a room on the second floor of a Victorian house. It's quite charming. you enter through the side of the house and go up a staircase and voila. T he room is nicely furnished with antiques and has everything you need. The bathroom is very clean. There is... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights, mid-August. When we arrived, the proprietors were not around, but had arranged easy access to the "Green Room" for us. Every available inch of the B&B is decorated with well-maintained, comfy, ecclectic clutter, Buddha and Ganesh everywhere you turn, overstuffed furniture, mirrors, framed photos and prints, kitschy ceramics, lovely area rugs... My wife and I were looking for a nice quaint B&B in the center of woodstock. It was a very cold weekend so we didn't want to have to walk far and even those that are 5 minute walks from town are on roads with no sidewalks so this seemed perfect. It's a very nice B&B. It appears to be... More

Village Green would've gotten a higher rating, but those fruit flies did it in for us. The pastries are kept under glass, but there were several milling about underneath it. The owners need to do a better job of storing the breakfast food. Full disclosure: we did not stay here in Sept '10; it was several years before, but the... More

My wife and I would looking for a place just to relax and unwind. Woodstock and the Village Green B&B where both good choices. It was our first time at a B&B and found the place to be pleasant, clean, quiet and comfortable. We stayed in the "Green Room", which faced the town square. Only two rooms available, both are... Stayed here to attend Levon Helm's Midnight Ramble. Our hosts were so gracious and the location could not be beat. We felt completely welcom as though we were guests in their home. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.
