We were so lucky to find this delightful place to stay in Woodstock! It was the perfect place to experience the town and the overall feel of the area. I am a light sleeper, so next time would ask for a room toward the back away from the street, as it was a little noisy (the weather permitted open windows).... More

We went to Woodstock for a birthday/anniversary weekend. THe Wild Rose and innkeeper Marti were wonderful. We were offered a free upgrade to a beautiful larger room (Cherokee Rose), but every room we saw looked lovely. The inn is beautifully decorated-- period and keeping with a "rose" theme, but not at all fussy. It felt tasteful and elegant, and above... More

Lovely B & B, great breakfast, wonderful owner, close to town....a perfect B & B complimenting the atmosphere of the town of Woodstock. The inn was very clean and the room was large with handsome classic antiques. The breakfast was out of this world- home made waffles were the best we ever had; delicious home made breads, yogurt, and spreads;... More

Marti and Austin were great hosts they were welcoming but not pushy. The inn was beautiful, clean and steps from town. We had delicious gluten free breads and waffles with homemade yogurt, fruit, cheese and coffee for breakfast. They were helpful and accommodating we will definitely go back when the weather is better so we can enjoy the pool.

Stayed here on a business trip to Woodstock. Quiet, super clean, comfie. Great breakfast, promptly (and quietly) laid out for us every morning. Marti, you are a wonderful and welcoming innkeeper---sadly a dying breed. You cannot go wrong staying at the Wild Rose. P.S., condolences on the koi.

What a wonderful surprise was in store for us! Driving up we were immediately impressed by the charming appearance. We were welcomed by the lovely proprietrees, "Marti" who showed us to our beautiful and romantic room, which was not only quiet and comfortable, but very clean and complete with all the luxuries, Jacquizi bath, big luxuries towels to wrap oneself... What fun hosting your stay! Scrabble (with a glass of wine) was a great way to weather the snowstorm. And, thank you for giving The Rose a 5-Star review. <3 More
