This is a great little hotel with excellent housekeeping and maintenance. I don't know about the basement rooms but mine was on the second floor and very nice. Not large but very comfortable bed and everything is maintained in good working order. The staff, with the exception of the morning lady at the front desk, was friendly, well as friendly... more

Hotel location was a 10 minutes walk to the subway. Safe area. Easy access with a GPS but tricky without... Clean room but somewhat small. Breakfast was included - cereals, coffee, juice and muffins - which was great. Overall, for busy visitors like us, this hotel was a great choice. more

My family and I stayed at this rather small hotel in Woodside (Queens) for 3 nights on the second floor. It was an absolutely tiny room. Barely enough to move around in. The king size bed took up almost the entire room! I have never been in such a small room. Toiletries were adequate: given were their special in-house "citrus... more

This is a very bare bones hotel in Queens. It is a short walk (a few blocks) to the subway. The neighborhood isn't great, but it isn't scary, either. The staff was fairly friendly. The rooms are extremely small, but clean and adequate. The continental breakfast is really a choice of corn flakes or raisin bran, coffee and a selection... more

The room was teeny and had a strong odor of disinfectant that seemed to cover old tobacco. First floor facing Queens Blvd. VERY NOISY, not helped by very noisy air conditioner so we felt like we were in a wind tunnel--and we had to weight down the curtains or they blew open. Also the furniture was grimy and the towels... more

Booked this hotel due to close proximity to my aunt's place. Though I have read not so-good reviews, I booked it anyway for this reason. My check in experience was already worth a thousand words for a genaral impression (the manager would not even spare a slight grin for a warm welcome at least). Then, I was assigned a basement... more

Here are the goods: ROOM: -Stayed in the "Basement"...probably would have preferred the "floors" but it was ok. Spent very little time in hotel anyway. King Bed, small room, but suitable. -Bathroom fan really loud...whatever. -I counted 6+ room amenities. Not bad. (shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash, lotion, shower cap, etc...) -coffee maker, hair dryer, iron, safe. PARKING: -Limited on site. Free... more

This hotel is located close to the subway station. Not a problem to walk there and this is what we were looking for. Price is good for this flexibility. We stayed in the basement... no problem, but I'm thinking it would have been nicer on the 2nd or 3rd floors. Very small room but I guess that's to be expected... more

This hotel is perfect if you just need a simple place to sleep and to keep your luggage secure while you're off exploring the city. It's about a 10-minute walk from Woodside subway stop on the Flushing Line (7), which takes you into the heart of Manhattan in about 20-25 minutes. If you aren't fond of the subway, this hotel... more
