I'm staying at this hotel right now I swear ppl expect everything reviewing it negatively..I'm on 1st floor facing street didn't hear any noise. Its very clean, breakfast included was continental, staff really nice. Nothing negative to say oh and neighborhood is typical nyc what you expect?! Not dangerous and subway a block away behind hotel the 7 train takes... More

I thought it was pretty good for the price, the staff answered all the questions courteously, the room was cleaned every day. For breakfast they have eggs, sausage, muffins, ham and pastrie s, The clerk called a taxi for us with a fixed rate to JFK for 40.00 dollars. I would definetely stay there again, Subway is about 3 min away and we... More

The best thing about this hotel is the neighborhood. While it's not in Manhattan - its only 20 minutes away on the subway and one block to the subway station. The area feels safe and enjoys a lot of diversity - for an Irish tourist it felt like a real New York neighborhood which was interesting to experience. There are... More

Convenient clean hotel. Breakfast dining area was very small only gripe. Beds and room facility very comfortable and clean. Very convenient close to local bars and shops. Also next door to subway. Staff at hotel very pleasant and helpful. I'd stay there any time in future for holiday visits to New York.

This hotel was a good value for a close to NYC hotel. We found it to be clean and in good repair. We spent 2 days here prior to our cruise. The neighborhood was safe, even at night. The subway was about a block from the hotel. It was a 15-20 min ride to Times Square. There are quite a... More

I have stayed here two times, in June 2013 and just last week. In June, there was no one at the desk when I arrived to check in. I waited 10 minutes. Smoke detector in room had been removed. Internet would not work until I made two phone calls to front desk. Breakfast was bad. And staff seemed remote and... More

We stayed here one night and the room was excellent, super large comfy kingsize bed and everything you need. You go out of the hotel hang a right and the station is at the end of the road and its about a half hours subway ride into Times Square. It's ideal if you want a cheap hotel away from the... More

checkout time is 11am & checkin time is 3pm. Additional $50 charge for early checkin. no choice. I had to pay $50 because I didn't want to wait for 3 hours. couldn't even go somewhere else leaving the luggages and come back at the checkin time because there was NO safe place to keep the luggages. they just leave the... This was my second trip to US Open + traditional NY attractions. The previous time I stayed at the Holland Motor Lodge in Jersey City [the name has since changed I believe], paid just under $100 but had to walk about a kilometer across a shopping mall car park, then the mall itself, then some more to PATH, then endure... I stayed here for 2 nights. I found the room to be fine it seemed clean and everything in order. The staff at the front desk was not really helpful at all. When I would ask a question the general response was a blank stare. It one point I had to ask the girl at the desk if she could... More
