Stayed 3 nights in this hotel and we choose this hotel as the price was much better than anywhere else in NY. Easy access to the city, pretty close to the subway station, which takes you right into Times Square. Rooms are ok in size, seemed very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast nd breakfast area is a... More

It was hard finding a decent hotel at an affordable price within walking distance of a subway with no reports of bed bugs. What we like was that it was walking distance to the subway, little stores and seemed like a safe neighborhood. The hotel looks new. Breakfast was simple but good. The rooms were nice although there was a... More

On a limited business travel budget, this location worked out fine. Stayed Thurs & Fri night. Room avg. $147/night including all taxes. From O'hare-flew into JFK on Jet Blue, Flew out from LGA on American. Car rental-no extra charge to drop off at other airport. From JFK rush hour traffic is heavy. Apprx. 4 miles from Manhattan/Radio City. The Woodside... More

This is a convenient place, which is just two blocks away from subway. It is also very clean, while the bedbugs are big issues in NY. Clean room although a little small, and a parking lot which is usually not easy to find in NYC.

My wife and I wanted a place to stay for a night to visit family in the area. Since it's new, everything was in good shape. We decided rather than spend more money to stay in Manhattan we would find a place just outside and use the extra money on a nice dinner and drinks. This worked very well for... More

Stayed one night (Saturday) when the hotel were staying at for the rest of the week had no rooms that night. Chose the hotel for location on 7 train line and price under $100. Avoided a cab by purchasing a 7-day Metro pass at LaGuardia and taking the Q33 bus to 7 line, about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. (The... More

This hotel had been open just a few months, and it was making deals to get folks in the door. We got a $99 room rate (with AARP discount) through the Choice Hotels website. I thought it would be too good to be true. (Having travelled to NYC many times through the years, I was highly skeptical of this rate... More

This hotel seems to get a lot of knocks in online reviews, but i dont see it. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the stay. Be prepared to have to tell your cabbie that this hotel is on Queens blvd at 53rd street (apparently the hotel changed name or something). Remarkably, we were told by a local that it... More

I stay at well over 100 different Choice hotels each year, and I've never seen service this poor. There were two people in front of me checking in, and the staff was fighting with both of them. After about 30 minutes, they were fighting with me as well. I paid for my room, showed them two forms of ID, my... More

I stayed there on the first day of the opening. Great location. Lot of Irish Pubs in the neighbourhood, On the main road but the noise was not a problem, I will come back in US open tennis. Just 20 minutes from Manhattan times square. The breakfast wasa good but the breakfast area was small. Proximity to NYC is a... More
