We just got back from a wonderful stay at Albergo Allegria in Windham. The staff are helpful, warm and welcoming. Our suite was huge, a 2 person soaking jacuzzi and fireplace, frig, comfortable bed, large flat screen, private entrance, private porch, free WiFi.....just perfect. The setting is beautiful and there is a waterfall and gorgeous mountain views. But the best... More

The Albergo Allegria is a beautiful homey place that is the perfect example of what a bed and breakfast was meant to be: a beautiful comfortable room with a great fluffy bed to rest and a delicious breakfast to look forward to in the morning. Combine that with a really nice staff, who genuinely cares for their guests and now... More

Had a very relaxing, pleasurable weekend at the Albergo, it definitely is more than a B&B. The staff was very personable and pleasant. The breakfasts were fabulous and the fruit and muffins put out each morning were delicious. A German Fondue restaurant is just a walk away as well as a pizza place and a mini mart. Lots of dining... This gorgeous Inn is a must! It is a treasure! The place is idyllic- charming, cozy, comfy and beautiful. The owners are warm, lovely and beyond hospitable, and the breakfast is the greatest breakfast anywhere! (I highly recommend the frittatas!)This truly special experience is the result of a family- run business, where years of hospitality meet kindness, passion, thoughtfulness, and love.As a... More

A lovely place to share with friends. The staff and full breakfast are beyond expectations. For peace and serenity this is the place to be. An Inn for all seasons. I've experienced Albergo Allegria in all seasons, and it can't be beat. Experience it for yourself! You'll just love it!

Stayed at Albergo during a weekend to go snowboarding at Windham and Hunter. The staff was very kind and accommodating, the free cookies were delicious, the free dvd movie was a nice touch, the breakfast was spectacular! (Seriously hadn't had a breakfast so fulfilling in a long time!). The snow itself was disappointing but this place made the weekend trip... More

We stayed at the Albergo last winter on a ski trip, and when we found out that the Level 3 ski instructor exam was at Hunter Mountain we booked here at the Albergo again. Being partial to Victorian architecture, I love how this place looks and feels. The parlor holds mostly antiques--comfortable ones--with one oversized cozy chair to nestle in... More

I just returned from a weekend skiing in Windham. Based on the previous reviews I decided to stay at the Albergo Allegria Bed & Breakfast. This B&B did not disappoint, it was like my home away from home for 2 nights. I was welcomed warmly upon check in and given a tour. I stayed in the November room which was... More

This is our third visit in ten years and everything was amazing! The menu for breakfast reads like a gourmet restaurant and the inn itself is gorgeous. But unlike other b&b's or small inns, families will feel at home. There are countless games to borrow, an enormous dvd library and a kitchen open 24/7 with huge containers of cookies. Muddy... More
