My sister and I originally booked for one weekend and wound up having to switch our reservation a few times--Lisa was so helpful and accommodating. Once we got there the staff was absolutely amazing and so friendly. The place has a great old-school vibe. The cottages are roomy, comfy and WARM. We originally had planned on going to some other... We booked it through Expedia. When we arrived office was closed and nobody answer the phone. By the way it was 14 degrees outside. After 1/2 an hour somebody arrived and provide us a key for the room and disappeared. It was cold in the room whole night. I slept in sweater, pants and socks. Don't even think to stay... More

Please know that due to a system error that was out of our control we did not receive the Expedia reservation made by this customer. We are a family owned property and do not have 24 hour front desk staff, however we do live on the property and are readily available. When this customer arrived to find no one at... More

Classic cottages and no frills, but sweet. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. Super nice owners. Excellent location close to restaurants and Windham Resort. A very affordable option! Highly recommend!

Cozy room,in a convenient location. A bit dated, but this doesn't bother me in the least. Bed was comfortable enough. TV was small, but worked fine. WiFi worked. One negative. The bathroom was tiny. (Room 4) Not small. Tiny. Barely enough room to shower.

In the area attending a family event and needed a place to stay for a night. The Copper Kettle is a bit of a throwback - Don't expect luxury - but do expect a clean room, a very friendly owner/staff, and a continental breakfast highlighted by some very good, fresh-made steel-cut oatmeal. The room (attached cabin/motel style) was of a... More

My husband and I stayed at the Copper Kettle while visiting the Celtic festival at Hunter Mountain. The owners (Don and Lisa) live on the property. This is one of the most quaint friendly places we have ever stayed. We stayed in the cottage "suite" which was very nice and full of character. The room was huge and was spotless.... More

I grew up in the area but have lived the past 15 years in Philadelphia. Went back with son for a snowboard weekend at Windham. Room seemed pricy for what it was. Poor lighting in the room, front door wouldn't open only about 1/2 way because the roof of the porch was sagging. The TV was an older version and... More

This was the best place we've found in the area around the Grey Fox Festival. The rooms are country cozy (i.e. clean but a bit worn) with the basic amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable. We had a great night sleep and woke up to see the mountains out our window. The hosts are great--friendly, warm, and very accommodating. They... More

Our stay was very good, the room was clean and there was air condition. We first got some problems with the wifi, but they got solved. We didn't like the breakfast that much. Maybe becouse we aren't americans, but we were happy that we had brought something ourselves.
