My wife and I have spent at least one long weekend at Chistman's Windham House every summer since 1994, and have never been disappointed. The hosts, Brian and Ruth Christman, are friendly, gracious and helpful, and the staff follows their lead. The on-site golfing is excellent -- a challenging 18-hole mountain course and a 9-hole valley beginner's course -- the... More

Rundown, family owned resort in need of some serious updating. Rooms are very basic motel rooms, clean, but very dated and dreary. Continental breakfast was cold cereal and off-brand muffins. Okay for a golf trip with the guys.

Just spent New Years eve at the Windham house can't rave about it enough. Its proximity to Windham Mountain, the attentiveness of the staff, the restaurant was terrific and definitely not overpriced. What a great way to ring in 2010.

Went to Christman's for a 3 day/night long weekend. The mountain golf course was tremendous! Tested all the shots in my bag. Up hills, down hills, 90 degree dog legs, etc. The mountain views from the course were cool too. Excellent golf course. The staff was attentive and very helpful. The weekend we were there some kind of tournament or... More

We had a great weekend there in October. The golf course is beautiful, about the best we've been to in the Catskills. We had a comfortable room and enjoyed excellent meals with friendly service. We'll be back.

Pros: -Close to Windham Mountain. Cons: -Overpriced: this is emphatically NOT a B&B in the traditional sense (cozy rooms, hot breakfast, attentive service), yet you'll be paying full B&B prices for what amounts to a cheap motel room and cold cereal in the morning. -Run-down: buildings are old, rooms weren't dirty but were definitely showing their age (dark and dreary),... During the course of our many years of providing hospitality to our guests we have returned many forgotten items. In this case we returned what we thought was the correct phone charger left in the room. When we found out that we had returned the wrong one we refunded the shipping costs to our customer. We have accumulated many forgotten... More
