This is a great little spot tucked at the base of Whiteface Mountain. The rooms are neat and clean with Adirondack's decor. It includes a pool and swings for the little ones and continental breakfast. It is convenient to Lake Placid and many tourist attractions. The manager is friendly and helpful. I would definitely return to vacation there. more

Very cute and clean motor lodge! Owners were friendly and helpful. We usually stay at bed and breakfasts but I would certainly stay at the Birch Tree Lodge again. more

Awesome value at Whiteface. Only 3 miles from the mountain. Package with lift licket to Whiteface and lodging was only a few dollars more than the lift ticket alone. Included coffee and muffins for breakfast. Nice decor and spotless room. Owner was great and went out of his way to answer our questions. Can't beat this deal!!!! more
