I have been camping at North Pole Resort since 2004 and go there in June and September every year. My friend Andy and I refer to the place as "Heaven." I choose a campsite within an easy 1 minute walk to the Ausable River. The campsite is good size, has tall trees and cover, and it's just a beautiful, natural,... more

We were a walk in to this hotel for one night after leaving another area motel we didn't like. It was part of a big camping resort/inn, etc. and was right on Rte 86 at the base of Whiteface Mtn. It had 2 heated pools (1 in front of the motel and 1 in back) a little mini-golf course, access... more

After traveling frequently for business purposes and staying at Hiltons, Marriotts, etc, admittedly I was very nervous about staying at a small town "Mom and Pop motel". I have to say that The North Pole Inn was a very pleasant surprise and truly one of the most comfortable rooms I have ever stayed in!!! Furnished in Adirondack style, the rooms... more

We have stayed at North Pole in the capground section twice (both the regular camping area and the primitive camping area across the road), a cabin once and most recently in a hotel room. We love this place!!!Its right at the base of Whiteface Mountain, right down the road from the North Pole Amusement Park, close to Keene Valley and... more

Upon arriving what we were told the entrance fee would be was actually more at the window...they charge tax to the admission price, which I was not aware of. We don't go many places so had no way of knowing that. There are no discount options or coupons available anywhere. Price listed is price you pay + tax. I was... more

I just want to say that we are not affiliated with Santas Workshop @ North Pole, NY. We are a separate privately owned campground & Inn. Thank You.

This is a great place for a family vacation. We stayed this year renting 3- motel rooms, 1 full live in cabin, 2 small cabins without bathrooms, 2 RV sites and 2 Campsites. Our family members enjoy staying together, but, many of them are not campers and with the Motel at the same site, we can have it all. The... more

We stayed in the 100 Acres section of the campground, the site was big enough, fairly private and lots of shaded area. The washroom/showers were extra clean which was a plus. The Whiteface area is very nice with a lot of things to do around (mountain biking, hiking etc.). Lake Placid is about 15 minutes away. Now for the not... more

This campground was really nice cozy place to stay. The area was beautiful right by the water and with trails and lots of things to see and do. We booked our campsite online but the form didn't let you put any extra comments in to say we are a Good Sam member, we thought we'd just get it straightened out... more

If you're thinking about going to Lake placid/Whiteface, you must consider staying at this resort. Owners were very friendly, rooms clean, newly renovated. My husband and I went there for New Year's Eve, and we enjoyed every bit of staying in there. If we go to the area ever again, we will for sure stay there again. It's well worth... more

Stayed at the North Pole Resort the middle of October. People were great and so was the location for fishing and hunting and traveling around the area. Clean with refrigerator and microwave, worked great for our trip. Pet friendly. more
