We (a family of 3) stood for one night at the Willkommen Hof in Wilmington. Full cooked breakfast was very delicious (eggs how you like them, bacon, sausages, cupcakes, toast, jam, cereals, coffee, juice, fresh fruits and yoghurt). The hot tub was very appreciated by our daughter! Also Bert was very helpful to find scenic routes for our trip and... More

We stayed for two nights, with friends, in early August to go hike up Whiteface and Esther. Trails and restaurants are very close by. The breakfast options change daily and are made fresh: eggs, blintz, pancakes, muffins, bacon, saussage. Rooms are tidy with comfortable beds. You will enjoy the hot tub and the hummingbirds! Both couples appreciated the cozy atmosphere... More

We stayed at Willkommen Hof B&B for 2 nights during a Canadian holiday. The place is well located, clean and the breakfast features several options and was good and hearty. Bert was able to suggest trails for hiking based on our criterion, which has been extremely helpful given the myriad of possibilities in the region. He has been very accommodating... More

WIllkommen Hoff offered our family (couple with two kids, 10 and 12) an excellent ski vacation. three main pluses: location (five mins. to Whiteface), spacious suite sleeping up to seven in three separate rooms with own refrigerator and microwave, and generosity of hosts in allowing use of the entire downstairs common area, including for our at-home suppers. one other advantage... So my boyfriend and I wanted to plan a weekend getaway and we discovered White face's ski and stay packages (buy 2 nights and 2 sets of lifts, get 3rd night and lift free). Most places that offered this package were booked which led us to Willkommen Hof. After looking at the reviews I got really excited to give this... More

I would like to thank you for your review. It did provide a "wake up" call. I guess after 25+ years in the hospitality business, I have forgotten a view things about hospitality. I apologize for my rudeness and will make amends on your next visit. Hope to see you again. More

- Excellent accommodations (comfortable beds, hot water, heated rooms, adorable owners) - Very good and filling breakfast with variety - Perfect location for skiing 5min drive from Whiteface. Also, not too far off from Lake Placid (around 10-15min drive)

We were looking for some relaxation and hiking this fall and stayed at this B&B. We really liked the place and spent a lot of time in the sauna and hot tub. It was the perfect place for what we were looking for and Bert was very welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable.

We were in the area for some fall hiking, and discovered this B&B when our other accommodation plans fell through. Next time, we will go here first. 25 years of professionalism show in Bert and Heike's hospitality. Delicious breakfasts, clean and comfortable rooms, nice common areas, knowledgeable hosts. Though we were not travelling with a dog, I like that the... More

Willkommen Hof B&B is the perfect gateway to all the outdoor activities in the area. My buddies and I go every June for the fishing, and the B&B is located at just about the midway point between the West Branch headwaters and Ausable Forks. You couldn't be better situated fishing-wise, and downtown Lake Placid is just minutes away. Heike and... More
