My husband and I stayed at the Inn in February with a wonderful view out our window to the slopes of Whiteface Mountain. We could even pick out the Inn while skiing! It was indeed the closest Inn to the slopes (Whiteface is owned by NY State, so there are not slopeside lodges...you drive in each day).

Ingrid made us totally welcome, offering us all we needed. And the Inn has a lot accessible for self-service, like tea and water and coffee and nibblies downstairs, about 100 movies with an in-room DVD, a refrigerator in the hallway for your stuff, wine glasses to take to your room for BYOB. She also offered to make us a hot breakfast each morning if we wanted, but we were so pleased with the cereal, bagel, toast, juice and coffee, that we did not need a hot breakfast.
