What a dump. Blood and other stains on sheets. Bugs in bed. Broken TV and Remote. Ripped screens and wallpaper. Mold in bathroom. Moulding ripped off bathroom floor. Rust on bathroom fixtures. All hallway and stairway rugs were ripped off exposing dirty, filthy floors. Reserved a queen bed room but got a single and told it doesn't matter what you... more

We were traveling home, after attending a funeral in Michigan, and arrived late in to the Buffalo area and needed a stop for the night. We chose this MicroTel because of the price and the convience to I-90. That is when the "pluses" ended. We requested a non-smoking room...it was "labeled" as such, however, the room told another story. Upon... more

Why did I stay there? It was advertised in a coupon book and was economical. Would I recommend it to others? Only if I disliked them immensely. Would I go back? NEVER EVER. Why? I requested a quiet room BUT discovered the noise coming from the floor above was akin to elephants roaming the floor. Not only that '. each... more

The place is terrible: 1. I booked over the phone with the main office of Microtel and they gave me a good price ($42). Then I show up and they said it will be ($58) a night. I had to talk with manager etc.. and finally they agreed to drop the price. 2. No internet in the room, even though... more

Some reviewers have been a little hard on this place, IMO. But only a little. Yes, the pillows were flat. As they were in the place we stayed the following night, for which we paid over twice as much. The huge mirrors are indeed standard throughout the entire Microtel chain. Remember, it's MICROtel - the first clue that you are... more

This was, by far, the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The room was way small (no big deal as it was just an overnighter). The bathroom was big time dirty, I felt like I was at a one-night stand hotel, if you get my drift!!! We stayed about 8 doors down from the front desk - the guy... more

The evening before leaving on a vacation I asked the clerk to call and reserve me a taxi for the morning. Reason is the last time "they" couldn't get a taxi for me in the morning. So, I went to check out in the morning and guess what NO TAXI - ONCE AGAIN I had to pay $$$ to leave... more

If you are just looking for a place to sleep and shower for a low rate, then this place is perfect. I left Toronto at 1AM for New York City and wanted to get a hotel for a few hours sleep. I had one of those hotel coupons you get in the service areas. The Microtel had rooms at $32.95,... more

It was a great price to stay at the Microtel Williamsville, NY... but as the previous poster said, you get what you pay for. The room was ok... clean and all... BUT the mirror over the bed was a little worrisome. It seriously looked like a two-way mirror, and it acted as the "headboard" for the bed. We called and... more

Stayed at the Microtel Inn in Williamsville, NY in March for 2 nights. Well my first impression was not that great when I walked in the lobby doors and spelt something like must. Anyway, to the room i went, to find a water stain on the ceiling that they had tried to cover up. The toilet made a loud noise... more
