My wife and I stayed one night in cabin 10B as we were on our way back to Toronto from a motorcycle trip to Maine. We booked the cabin the night before, mid-week. The cabin was quaint, clean and very "cottage-y" - not luxurious, but more than acceptable. The site itself is fantastic - basketball courts, a nice beach, powerboat... More

We want Normandie Beach Club to be our secret hideaway! What an amazing trip we had last week at Normandie. Who knew such a glorious place existed in the middle of the Adirondack Park?! How could such an oasis exist in such a faraway feeling place?! Over the years, my husband and I have visited and lived in many other... More

My best friend and I just returned from a relaxing girls' getaway at the Normandie Beach Club. We could not have been more pleased with our spotless and comfortable lake front cabin and all that Normandie had to offer. Although we had day trips planned to many of the hot spots a short ride away, we instead found ourselves lounging... More

We stumbled upon this interesting restaurant simply by following signs that advertised "lake front dining." Coco Cafe is located with the Normandie Beach Resort which formerly was a boys summer camp on Lake Champlain. The Coco Cafe features primarily outdoor dining right on the waterfront. Indoor dining is also available for those inclement days. We parked in an upper parking... More

The location is amazing, the cabins passable, very bare bones. Breakfast is barely edible, coffee horrible, and the staff manager/cook was yelling at the waiters/watresses right in front of the breakfast crowd. The worst however, was the owner. Without getting into too many details, she lied to me about our rooms, overcharged, and clearly has absolutely no idea about customer... More

The incident described here did not happen. No customer has spoken to me, the only female owner of Normandie, this entire season with any complaints about our pricing or anything for that matter except perhaps their stay being too short...... Our prices could not be more reasonable. We are known for our customer service and pride ourselves on that. I... More

What a wonderful spot on so many levels! For families, lots to do for kids from pre-school to college-age, from watersports, tennis or basketball to the game room on rainy days. All those options gives parents a chance to actually relax! Put your feet up for your whole stay, or check out nearby Westport, Essex, and Lake Placid. The waterfront... More

Nestled on the shore of lake champlain lies a former camp converted into tidy bungalows. Cabins are spacious and spotless with efficiency kitchens and views of either the lake or the manicured lawn. Everything about this place says enjoy the adirondaks! Owners are friendly and on site along with an international crew of teenage staff. Bikes available to tool around... More

We didn't stay here this time as we hadn't realised just how lovely the setting is until we saw it. The club is located on the shores of Lake Champlain and there are gorgeous views across the lake and across to the quaint little village of Westport. The resort was obviously a great place for watersport enthusiasts. We did have... More

Hot room with air in only 1 room. Small bed in one room and small bunk bed in other. Spiders and cobwebs. Never stayed the night but was billed for two. How can AMEX have this place as a customer. Even after agreeing to only charge me for 1 night, I was billed for 2 and they wont budge. American... More

These two men checked into our resort with their dog at 11:00AM and spent the day on the property, using the cottage and bedroom and enjoyed all amenities without comment. They then proceeded to our restaurant at 7PM and sat at our bar for dinner and verbally praised the food and service while chatting with the bartender and other staff,... More

We stayed there one night on the way to Montreal. The resort had a rustic feel, and the cottages were nice. Beds were relatively thin and uncomfortable, but passable. It rained all day and night, and the fact that they had a nice indoor play area (billiards, ping pong, air hockey, board games) kept the kids entertained. Would have been... More
