By coincidence I scheduled work in Otsego County the weekend of the Baseball Hall of Fame induction. Everything was booked within 25 miles of Cooperstown. I was lucky to get the last room here at a reasonable rate. The owner struck me as somewhat quirky when she went over the rules, which were mostly common sense. She seemed considerate. The... More

If the answer to the above question is "YES", then you will want to stay at Jeannie's Dream Motel. It fits the description to a "T". The motel itself is a little on the old side, but it's well worth the stay if you're not looking for a bunch of bells and whistles. Jeannie herself runs the place and you... More

My husband and I stayed at Jeannie's a couple of weeks ago. We came from Massachusetts on business and stayed overnight. The people were very pleasant and accomodating. The rooms were exceptionally clean. I cannot remember ever staying in place that was so clean (including my own home). The room was small, but we don't require a lot of room.... More

We went in town for a family visit. The family recommended this location because it was located within the West Winfield area. It isnt a fancy hotel but it is worth its value. The owners were exceptionally nice and concern for thier customers stay. Family owned and Family atmosphere during our stay. As others stated hotle was clean.

I go travel to this area almost every year for our family reunion. My cousin suggested this motel; they let their kids and grandkids stay at their house a couple miles away and they stay at Jeannie's! As the other reviews pointed out, the rooms and grounds a immaculate. I have never, ever stayed a motel that is this clean!... More

As a career traveler (150+ nights/ year in hotels) I am aquainted with rooms from $29 - $800 per night. I have even been the first guest in several hotels in the US. I have never found a room cleaner than this motel! After searching every surface of the room (ceiling fan blades, molding, behind furniture) and not finding anything... More

We were able to get a room at Jeannie's Dream Motel on fairly short notice right during the annual Madison Bouckville Antique Festival. Both Jeannie and her husband Vinnie are super-friendly, not intrusive, want to be sure everything's okay. If you want a taste of what old US Route 20 was like before corporate hotels took away all the business,... More

Stayed here for a few nights while seeing the sights in Central New York. It's a fairly old place--probably from the 1940s, when Route 20 was the main east-west route across New York State--and the room was on the small side, but it had a nice retro feel and was very well maintained and spotlessly clean. Like a lot of... More
