My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Finglen House. Everyone so hospitable and very helpful. Beautiful home in very pretty setting. Just make sure to read driving directions very carefully. Name of home is not on the main road.

After you manage the little challenge to find it - look for Schönstatt entrance - you reach a very cosy and classic B&B at an exceptional setting. This is the kind of place where movie makers would properly choose for a perfect B&B location shot. But beside the fact it is simply a great, distinctive, feel good B&B, which is... More

A wonderful home in a fantastic location. The hosts, the Campbell family, are all delightful and made us and our dogs so very welcome. Very comfortable in every sense. Great for walking the dogs and the gardens are lovely and completely safe and tranquil, even with a beautiful stream. Hens and guinee fowl running free so not for every dog... More

The hosts Sabrina and Douglas made us very welcome. The room was comfortable and peaceful and the breakfast was wonderful. Highly recommend a stay here; in the country but no distance from Glasgow or Edinburgh with places to eat out and visit nearby.

Wonderful garden and historic home for a short rest on the way to the highlands. Friendly host and a dog friendly setting. The gardens and river walks are unlike any other home I have stayed in. Fantastic!

We had a great welcome from Sabrina and her 2 Spaniels, the house was lovely and our room spotless. we had free run of the beautiful garden with our own dog accompanied by the spaniels and a relaxing evening in the big sitting room. breakfast was served at the huge dining table with a log fire burning. A quality bed... More

I never write any reviews for these sorts of things. For this B&B I am making an exception, because we loved the whole experience. The people running this B&B are very friendly and openhearted, they make you feel right at home! The room was perfect, clean, large with a nice en-suite bathroom and a good large bed. There's possibility to... More

Staying at Finglen was fantastic. We were greeted like old friends and shown into our private living room with roaring open fire, fresh tea and yummy cake. The surroundings are beautiful with a magical woodland close by and a gorgeous garden. The rooms were so comfortable and cosy. Modern but with the 'home comfort' feel. We all had an amazing... More

We had the privilege of staying here under dire circumstances. We were bringing our cat to the Animal Hospital and luckily we found Finglen as we were struggling to find accommodation with a sick cat. From the first call Douglas was immediately fantastic, assured us it was not a problem. We live on the Isle of Mull and were due... More
