A reasonable $18 for a Non-self contained campervan site however it is worth your while travelling 50 yards away and staying at the holiday park next door IF (and only if) you're in a campervan and assuming the following doesn't occur there! I'll start by saying the facilities are flawless. Extremely clean and well maintained. The staff and long term... More

Hi Tom we appreciate you leaving us your review and are sorry your experience was a little frustrating. Our tariff is in line with our style of Park and it is important to us and our customers that our facilities are up to scratch. We're a little confused as our pool table and hair dryer arent broken, and the kettles... More

We stayed here in our tent for three nights and found it was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The tent sites were flat and a good size, with plenty of room for parking. Camp facilities were very good, well maintained and spotless. Everything was so good, we didn't even bother unpacking our cooker and kettle but used... More

We had a two bedroom unit which was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The one exception to this was that there was no coffee maker, BUT the manager lent us her personal coffee press which was much appreciated. Having the pool available was a nice addition. The location was very convenient to the beach and within an easy walk... More

Hats off (or in my case - Helmet) to the hosts (Helena & Craig) for such a great stay in Whitianga. Prime location and great rooms, if I had a tow bar on the bike, I would have taken my room with me. The hosts go out of there way to make sure that everyone's trip is memorable and thanks... More

We stayed 3 nights in our tent in Febuary and were impressed with the cleanliness of the site, the large pitching sites and the great facilities that were spotless. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Will defiantly come again.

I stayed here a for 5 nights in February, with a few friends. We were camping there so I can't comment on the rooms. But the owners were lovely people, the facilities were brilliant, the staff were amazingly friendly, not very expensive, and the pool was a added bonus. Would recommend to all!(:

The owners were very thoughtful, we road our Motor Bike and they offered wood so we could park next to our cabin, and a hair dryer as I didn't bring one in my luggage, the cabin was well layed out and clean and fresh, we enjoyed our stay in this beautiful spot!

Mercury bay holiday park is very well run by a friendly couple. The facilities are brand new and absolutely immaculate. I wish all campsites could be this good, I actually didn't want to leave. I thought it was a bit mean charging a dollar for a shower until I had one, then I was quite happy. Lots of water in... More
