We ended our 4 week holiday in Australia here at Smiths Beach. We knew it was mainly self catering so we stopped on route and topped up with essentials, wine etc! Our apartment was spacious and clean, with all the facilities you could possibly need. Full cooking facilities, as well as a gas BBQ on the balcony. Full size washing... More

As an early birthday treat we travelled from Qld to WA for a 2 week holiday and stayed 5 nights at Smiths Beach Resort in an Ocean View Villa. Our apartment overlooked the pool and Canal Rocks and had spectacular views of the ocean during the day. The apartment was big and spacious - great when travelling with 2 kids.... More

We stayed here for a week of relaxing bliss. Very little to fault. Loved the privacy and no room service so you could feel more at home than in a motel. I would stay here again. Smiths beach is such a lovely location.

For our 50th wedding anniversary, we chose to stay in a "beach shack" at this resort. In our respective youths, we have used beach shacks and we thought it would be a suitable reminder of earlier days. Sadly, the beach shacks here are not on a beach. The name reflects "the style", not the location. In fact none of the... More

Congratulations on your golden wedding anniversary and we are certainly glad to hear that despite your disappointment you still enjoyed your stay at the Resort. After reading your comments, unfortunately it is apparent the room type you booked (a 2-Bedroom Beach Shack) was not the most suited for you. The Beach Shacks are the price entry point to the Resort,... More

The accommodation was of a modern and very comfortable standard, and reflective of the price category. We stayed in a villa which we thought was going to be ON the beach, judging from communications prior to booking and the website images. In fact the beach was across a (reasonably quiet) Tarmac road that runs along the front of all the... More

The mister sprung a surprise on me one night and told me that we are going to Perth for my birthday and the wonderful smiths beach resort would be our love nest for a couple of nights. Being quite familiar with accommodation in Western Australia in general, I didn't think it was going to extraordinary. We got to smiths beach... More

We recently stayed here with our daughter and family for 3 nights inthe 4 bedroom beach house. We loved the house, the view, the decor in fact just about everything about the place. May we give a few suggestions to make it perfect. A coffee machine is almost mandatory in this standard of accommodation.maybe they want us to go to... More

We had a family vacation here in November with our adult children. We had a 3 bedroom villa. It was extremely spacious with uninterrupted views of the coastline. The villa was equipped with everything you could possibly need to make your stay enjoyable...The on site staff were helpful and friendly. The coffee shop/restaurant/ general store was amazing. You could buy... More

Perfect long weekend or romantic getaway. Great location right opposite the beach and very handy to have the cafe in the complex. Great breakfast! Can't wait to come back again and thank you for the great service and privacy.

We stayed for a weekend recently and it definitely has the WOW factor. Clean minimalist lines and design with a white on cream and bare concrete style décor through-out. (there were a few of us so I saw a range of the apartments) On the plus side: large comfy beds, the beach is a 3 min walk away, nice pool... More
