We recently stayed at Smiths Beach Resort and were pleased we had 2 nights as its a great base to explore the region.. Smiths beach is located near Yallingup thought the closest supermarkets are in Dunsborough which is about a 10 mins drive. The rooms are very well equipped indeed, though for the price they should be and i agree... More

A very pleasant and relaxing stay which was wonderfully complemented with the sounds and views of the ocean. Generally clean and loved how it was so fully equipped like a serviced apartment. Only hiccup was the somewhat slow and cranky wifi. We enjoyed enjoyed our two nights stay very much, it was one very relaxing holiday, with easy access to... More

Although marketed as a resort, do note that this is not a full service resort or hotel - there is no room service or daily cleaning. I believe most 'resorts' and 'hotels' in Margaret river practice this standard so if this is the same every where else, then can't complain I guess. Do note to bring your own groceries, snacks... I recently stayed at Smiths Beach Resort with a friend visiting from Canada. Smiths beach is located in Yallingup which is certainly a wonderful part of the world and a must see if you are travelling down south. Personally, I think the word "resort" is perhaps stretching the imagination a little and a little overpriced at $335 per night but... More

We stayed in a 2 bedroom 'beach shack' which was $300 a night, we negotiated this to $225 a night but that still seems quite over priced for what you get, we stayed in cabin 46. The 'shack' is in Australian terms a donga, or in UK terms a porta cabin. The main bedroom is small and with a west... More

It was one of those stays that everything was fine but nothing was outstanding. The meal at Lamonts was probably the best part. The weather was too cold to try the pool or utilize the courtyard. The rooms were neat and clean and very comfortable. We probably saw the staff twice. Check in and check out. We love the beach... More

This is a great spot to stay when in the Margaret River area. The resort is located right on Smiths beach, and within driving distance of all the major attractions of Margaret River, including some awesome wineries. The restaurant and cafe attached to the resort are wonderful - seriously some of the best coffee in the area - and the... More

We stayed in a 2 bedroom beach shacks - smallish and modern shack. It would have been very crowded if a family of 4 were to stay here. It serves it purpose while we were there. Positives – very clean and modern shacks; Lamonts was next door; close access to the beach (great for sunrise/sunset walks); each shack had BBQ... More

This place looks great, water views, terrazzo floors, motor blinds- what's not to love? Well a bit really. I think the place is starting to fall apart. Microwave didn't work, phones didn't work , the bed's on a lean. I called up and asked about kitchen facilities in advance and was assured it was a "full kitchen"- yet they didn't... More

Dear Jeremy, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that you experienced issues with your villa and that we were not made aware of this at the time. I am certain we could have resolved everything quite easily and promptly. I am surprised by your comment that the Villa faced the “wrong way” as it faces directly west which... More
