we stayed for 3 nights in a Lakeview suite and can not fault the accommodation. The spacious, secluded rooms complete with large spa bath that privately overlooked the grounds was pure opulence. Room Amenities provided were top quality. Breakfast was to die for...from the service to the food, was top quality. The restaurant provided a most delicious dining experience. We... More

Cape Lodge is set in beautiful, quiet grounds with a swimming pool and tennis court and a restaurant looking at a small lake. The service is fantastic and everyone very friendly. We ate breakfast in the restaurant every morning which was a great way to start the day. The restaurant is tired and the music uninspiring. Our room was very... More

3.5 possibly 4 but definitely not 5 star. The food is fabulous but the rest of the place lets it down. Service at meals times is slow and the wait staff are forgetful. WiFi is almost non existent, rooms are ok but nothing special. I stayed here 2 years ago and it has gone downhill since then. I used the... More

We stayed at Cape Lodge back in April for 4 nights to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. The location and setting is lovely and is in good distance to a number of quality wineries and beaches. Breakfasts were our favourite part of the day and the selections were amazing! We had 2 dinners in the restaurant and the food... More

..... This week I had the privilege of staying at Cape Lodge ....and feel like writing an article for the Tripadvisor sealed section ;) ..... what a sensational place ..... and romantic setting for a sensual getaway .....A beautiful Cape Dutch building of the early 90's, surrounded in European inspired gardens, plantings and vineyard ....... overlooking a tranquil lake. The... More

Stayed for one night, and it was one of the best hotel experiences ever. What a stunning place! So so quiet, and beautifully located in the wine district. At sunset, we did some complimentary wine tasting on the deck outside the restaurant. The colors from the sky and the lake was magic. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant... More

Stayed here with my wife in May. As we drove up to reception we had high hopes. The secluded location and it's good reputation had us excited. However, as we checked in we noticed the room type we had paid for wasn't the same as the allocated room. We enquired and were assured that it in fact was the correct... More

Our lovely children treated us here for a night after a stay in Margaret River for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. We were greeted with a heart formed out of rose petals on the bed with a rose in the middle. Just beautiful. Sublime covers it all - the buildings, staff, restaurant and meals -complimentary wine tasting - 2 glasses of... More

Stayed in one of the lake view rooms at Cape Lodge for three nights. The view of the sun rising on the lake in early morning was extremely beautiful and tranquil. The property is beautifully secluded within a stretch of small vineyards. It even grows its own grapes and produces its own house wine! The restaurant on the property was... More

We organised for 5 couples to join us for a few days at Cape Lodge. We hadn't been here before, tho we know the Margaret River region well. Cape Lodge is promoted as a luxury resort and we were wondering how that fitted with the local "surf's up" attitude. But it was a terrific stay - everyone was happy and... More
