My husband and I were absolutely thrilled with Cape Lodge which was the perfect setting/ environment for our wedding. Everyone went above and beyond to cater for our needs and the quality of service was flawless. The gardens were breathtaking and will always remain imprinted in our memory as the surroundings of where we pledged our vows. The restaurant was... More

Absolutely cannot fault Cape Lodge. Country style retreat, perfect for relaxing after a day of wine tasting & driving through the gorgeous Margaret River. Absolutely amazing breakfast, complimentary wine tasting & afternoon tea. Incredible dinner in the restaurant or room service.

Simply put, Cape Lodge is the best of its class in SW Western Australia. OK, the suites may not be brand new. But, they are very spacious and comfortable and are set in serene, beautifully cared for gardens, surrounded by a nature bush walk that takes in views of large white gum trees and rolling vineyards. Most of all, the... More

Travelling in Australia, we decided to splash out for 3 nights of luxury and we were not disappointed. Our garden view room was spacious and most comfortable. The food was fabulous. We had planned to visit other restaurants but after dinner on the first night we knew we would be having all our meals there. My quail with poached quince... More

My husband and I decided to splurge on our last night in Western Australia and chose Cape lodge to celebrate our anniversary. What a stellar decision, our only regret being that we didn't stay longer. We were upgraded to a spa suite which was such a treat in a Margaret river winter. The room was spacious and comfortable with views... More

Great stay mid winter over the June long weekend. Rooms very comfortable - spacious/warm. Resort very quiet. Great gardens - very relaxing Plenty to do within 20 km (even 5km) of the Lodge - Dunsborough, Yallingup, Injidup, Canal Rocks, Gracetown, Cowtown. And then there are restaurants/wineries- we late lunched at Wills Domain, Knee Deep, Vasse Felix, and tasted at Arimia,... More

Cape Lodge was just like coming home to friends. We were welcomed easily,a fire lit in the sumptuous lounge, then coffee muffins, slices and biscuits, all home made, were presented for us to help ourselves... we did!We dined in the restaurant twice for dinner and each day for 4 days for breakfast. Each meal was exceptional.. my one regret at dinner time... What a wonderful place from which to explore the Margaret River area. Pure luxury (and a pricy tag) but worth every penny for sheer indulgence. The restaurant is wonderful and the breakfast quite exceptional. Beautiful grounds and brilliant unobtrusive service. Nothing is too much trouble

I loved this location and the quietness of the place, manicured gardens and close to many good vineyards. Good service and staff which is very very nice. rooms are cozy, nice and clean with a "rustic" feeling. Heated floor in the bathroom was a nice touch for the winter. However, rooms could be upgraded a little bit in order to... More
