Stunning private location and fabulous grounds, perfectly situated for winery tours and beautiful beaches. Forest suite was outstanding including magnificent views over lake. Weather was chilly at night during our stay so heated bathroom floor was a real bonus! Restaurant was exceptional, standard of cuisine was of the highest order, staff very attentive, nothing too much trouble. Outdoor pool very... More

This hotel is ideal if you like to wander the hotel gardens enjoying the fragrance of the wild flowers, watching the bright coloured birds or just relaxing with a good book, then I think you will like it here. The hotel rooms are very spacious yet have a relax feel which is mirrored throughout the hotel. The restaurant offers a... More

This lodge is in a lovely location with beautiful grounds and I am sure that the lodge was very high end when it was opened but it now feels as though it is resting on its laurels. Service is very variable. The supply of 'nibbles' was very minimal and incomplete: there was a very small cafetiere, suitable for one mug.... More

This was our second visit to Cape Lodge and, if possible, it was even better this time. The location, the accommodation and the food were all first class. The attention to detail and the friendly staff added to the overall experience. We will certainly return.

We were booked in the Spa Room, which was on the second floor of a building a bit far from the main office. We arrived quite late, after a long drive from Perth, and the reception was closed. A clear instruction on how to reach the staff was posted by the phone, and after we rang a staff prompty appeared,... More

We spent a few days In Margaret River for our wedding anniversary and spent a night here. Staff were very friendly. Our room had rose petals on the bed in the shape of a heart . Nice touch. The restaurant is very elegant. The food in the restaurant was amazing. I can recommend the Lamb. Breakfast was also excellent with lots... More

We had 6 nights at Cape Lodge, and were so relaxed by the end of our stay the staff almost had to physically remove us from the estate. The grounds are beautiful, combining the natural Australian landscape with roses and other imports, all well maintained and watered. Our room was a Superior Spa room, and while it was spacious and... This is beautiful place , superbly appointed with hospitality to match. We were warmly greeted and treated. The facility is beautifully maintained. The service in the restaurant was excellent and the chef cooked a meal of the highest quality. The daily high tea is a nice touch. It is well situated in central Margaret River in comfortable reach of both Capes.

We had a 3 night stay in Cape Lodge and we would have loved to stay more! From the very first step into the property you feel like in heaven: vineyards, private gardens, little relax spots around the lake...everything is done to help you to set your mind into the relax mode. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful: from... More

My wife and I arrived just after seven in the evening and as we had taken the dinner , bed and breakfast option we were pleased to be checked in swiftly. A little too swiftly unfortunately. We were advised that although we had booked to include dinner, the following evening, Saturday, there was a celebrity chef hosting dinner and we... More
