Have stayed there several times. Always nice and clean, lovely surroundings, staff are very nice. Food was lovely, though a little expensive, but not much else to pick from in Walpole. Will stay there again.

Warm, welcoming and gracious staff in a pleasant, well maintained motel. Dine-in was tasty, well presented and a far cry from the other offerings in town. Especially in winter a good place to stay in the area close to forest attractions. Good breakfast served in-room and available even when few guests due to the time of year. Would definitely stay... A comfortable and quiet motel. Breakfast was brought to our room and was good and the service was friendly. We didn't eat there (but wishing we had) as there is not much on offer in Walpole at night. We would happily stay there again.

We stayed at the Tree Top Motel as it was the closest we could find to the Valley of the Giant attraction. We drove about 6 hours from Perth and stayed here after we visited the Giant Trees. We cooled down in the pool and jacuzzi and also had a lovely meal later that evening. They also treated us to... More

Very gracious and accommodating staff. Unfortunately the chef was on a well earned break on our visit, we were given directions to the nearest dining facilities, Handy to the many attractions of the national parks in the area.

I was looking for somewhere to stay between Margaret River and Albany and Walpole fitted the bill. The motel is traditional and the rooms dated. The restaurant is average as evidenced by the fact that I was one of only 3 customers. The price was reasonable but I found better value at both Margaret River and Albany and I feel... More

This restaurant must rate as the worst for food and value in Australia. The food portions were so small a child would die of hunger after. The rolls served were at least a week old, they were so hard. The cost was very expensive for the size of the meal. We had a ploughman's lunch which consisted of a piece of... More

We were unfortunate enough to stay one night at Tree Top Walk Motel, Walpole over the 2014 Anzac Day long weekend. We booked in advance as the place seemed ok from their website, but wish I'd checked the many negative TripAdvisor reviews. Planned to stay two nights but left after one due to the disgustingly rude and unhelpful attitude of... More

Being shoulder season we were able to book into this motel as we travelled slowly back to Perth after a three day sojourn in Albany. We choose this motel as our first preference as we stayed there with a group of field naturalists that we were leading around WA in 2004. We were pleased to find that it still had... More

Our initial contact with this motel, as is the usual, was through our reception at the office. We were met, unfortunately, by a very abrupt, but not rude, person at the desk. She immediately set the tone for our stay here, and obviously other reviewers have had the same, if not worse experience. The room itself, although small, was adequate... More
