It cost $100 for a night, but was only worth $50. A bleak brick room desperately in need of maintenance (such as fixing the window locks).

We had two meals with friends, and a friendly game of darts with the locals! The steak, service, heating was all superb, but they could do a little work on their kids menu and kid friendly facilities!

I stay at Walpole Hotel Motel in March 2011 with 2 other friends, we were surpised when we drove in. The place looks very run down and had cob webs all over with huge spiders. We really regretted saving the money. I have enclosed some photos for you to have a clearer picture of the place.

The motel is at the end of a long drive and totally depressed the soul. It is a very tired and down at heel motel (hardly a hotel). It is in need of a VERY thorough refurbishment, which should include furnishings. paintwork, bathroom fittings, lighting etc etc - in fact almost everything. Don't go here unless all else is full....
