nice park. Quiet and peaceful. Ok children facilities. Small beach was picturesque. Though too cold when we were there to get in. Bush setting sites. Facilities were good. Bbq areas allow campfires which was nice. Would stay again when in the area.

Great quiet park in a picturesque location. Stayed in one of the basic cabins but all that we needed. Facilities were clean and very well maintained. Showers piping hot. Kids loved the kangaroos that popped through for a visit.

We actually thought we were going to be on an ocean beach. Coalmine beach in on an inlet, no sign of sea. A cute little coarse sand beach. Lovely little park, very peaceful and quiet. Good child playground with visiting wallabies.

Utilised caravan site. Very friendly reception. Great spot to sit and chill. Stayed for two nights and it certainly was full for the two nights with lots of people staying for a night to continue their journey onwards. Shower facilities were clean and tidy. Scenary was absolutely stunning....

We stayed at Coalmine Beach Park for five nights. It was well kept and clean. We stayed in one of the cabins. It was very small and a bit depressing in that the cupboards were very worn. The chairs were very uncomfortable and the TV could only receive two stations. We weren't too fussed about all of that as we... More

We stayed 4 nights over the long weekend. The sites are lovely and shady and sheltered from each other and the weather by native pappermints. It rained quite a lot and some of the tracks through the site (and some of the lower lying sites) did get a bit soggy but management did address this by laying woodchips in the... More

This is in a lovely spot and very quiet and peaceful. We have travelled for 8 months and these would be the cleanest amenities I have seen and I understand the security code on the amenities as the boat ramp is just over the back on the lack. It does get soggy in the rain and the track to the... More

Out site is a horrid one, had to dig a slight hole to unhitch our camper. Ablution blocks are a nice size and are very clean. But didn't understand the pin entry? Both male and female had the same pin. Odd and no need for it. Solar panels covering the clear roofing over the bathrooms didn't understand that either. Water... More

We stayed 2 nights in May. Almost brand new amenities and camp kitchen BBQ area. In amongst the small trees/bush but it felt good - close to nature. Plenty of other happy people staying in the park - a bonus was plug - in cable TV next to the 240 volt power outlet . We borrowed a cable and plugged... More

This secret little holiday park is perched alongside the inlet with shady sites abounded by natural bushland and easy access to the beach, all that lends itself to imaginative play for the kids who were thoroughly enjoying themselves on the beach, riding their bikes or using the playground equipment. The natural beauty around the park is idyllic for photographing the... More
