We were situated in the non smoking area of the pub, yet people, including staff, were sitting at a table overlooking the non smoking area, and blowing smoke right over our table. When we approached the manager, Alex, she was rude and told us there is nothing they can do and the blind separating the two areas could not be... More

This was quite an experience. The men's toilet had faeces all over the seats, the bar was open to all smoke from the smokers lounging at the windows and the dining area was spartan and over priced at best.

We didn't stay at the hotel itself, but went there for dinner tonight. The whole experience was quite bizarre. There was no actual atmosphere to the dining area, it was very much like a cafeteria, dull and boring. We had people standing by our table with their bums practically in our faces as they viewed the menu. We ordered the... More

My partner & i stayed for 2 night over the anzac long weekend. We where not sure what to expect. The Queen rooms along beachfront had been referbished. Bathroom was great, shower space was massive. Room was clean, had everything in it that was expected. Would stay here again, location right across from the beach & Pub is awesome.

Room in poor maintenance. Wardrobe door cannot be close. Toilet door is rubbing against the floor n need a hard push to force open. Worst is toilet floor tiles is damaged near bathing area which is potiential hazard of cuts. Luckily is just one night stop over n will not come back again for stay

My wife and daughter made the mistake to have dinner there. My daughter was served moldy cheese on top of her spag bol! My wife ordered medium well done steak and got steak still mooing. Staff after complaining of the moldy cheese were rude. Constantly at the table mid way through the meal to see if we had finished yet.... More

The Steak and Seafood Bistro is advertised to serve dinner until 8.30, on the Sunday night that we were there they cut off dinner orders at 7.50 because it seemed that the staff wanted to knock off early. There were families with young children that were turned away 40 minutes before the advertised closing time and had limited options for... More

Went to the hotel for a lazy Saturday lunch and arvo watching the cricket with a coldie and got exactly what I wanted. The food was fantastic, the staff great and the atmosphere was relaxed, just what I wanted. Great location looking over the inlet and the mist sprayers in the beer garden was a great idea. Staff were the... More

We didn't stay at the motel, but we ate at the bar. We were served food we didn't order and when trying to explain we were told to take it or leave. The service was shockingly rude, it's unfortunate that it's one of the only pub options we have here.

The seafood platter for 2, was $108, it had 1 x Lobster which was tough and still partly frozen, 2 x pieces fried fish, 4 x oysters, calamari straight from a packet, chilli mussels which were cold, scallops in a garlic sauce and chips, some salad under the lobster, it was all tasteless, frozen packaged food
