We stayed here for three nights in early June, on an excursion to visit the whale sharks at Ningaloo Reef. If you are flying into Exmouth, please be advised that Learmonth Airport is a fair excursion away from Exmouth itself, and costs $40 AUS per person to shuttle into town. The resort is very picturesque and relatively new. Our room... more

Our six night stay at the Novotel was in stark contrast to our usual (camping) holidays. The room was beautifully presented and spotless. Room service was dear but delicious. Perhaps a stay in one of the units with cooking facilities would have made things easier. House keeping was very good although our dishes were on the balcony for over a... more

My family and I spent 3 nights in a one bedroom appartment at this resort in May. We have stayed at other Novotel resorts around Australia and have always been happy with the level of service and rooms. Unfortunately, our experience at the Exmouth resort was not the same. Poor service, a cold swimming pool (which we were told was... more

We arrived at the Novotel Nigaloo Resort in May for 4 nights to participate in a whale shark tour. (I have reviewed the whale shark tour with 3 Islands tour separately.) We had imagined that the resort would be a luxurious hideaway in the quiet wilderness of the remote Western Australian coast. We had booked a standard king room and... more

we spent 4 nights there on january 2008 and we have been really satisfied. as first this is the best resort you can find in exmouth. restaurant is really good too. obviously you must have a car to enjoy the area. exmouth is the door of the cape range national park. it's a wonderful place especially if you like the... more

Flights from Perth direct to Exmouth (1.45hrs and 1 flight per day) landing in a tiny airport. A shuttle bus meets every flight at the cost of 20 Australian Dollars per person. The shuttle took approximately 20 mins to reach the Novotel Ningaloo Resort. The hotel is remote, based on an expanding marina (no noise from any neighbouring construction) right... more

The hotel was very impressive with well set up rooms. Food in the restaurant was excellent and the staff were helpful and friendly. We had a fantastic view overlookign the ocean where we could spot humpback whales and dolphins passing (no need to spend money on whale watching tours!). My main issues are (i) that the hotel is expensive (which... more

This is a very new resort in the not very old town of Exmouth (formed in the 60s). On the positives, they have done a reasonable job of ensuring that new property that is being built out it is not impacting guests, the room fixture and fittings are of a good standard, it is reasonably pretty (compared with the rest... more

Stayed 2 nights in superior king room with balcony overlooking ocean. Room was comfortable and well appointed - though if staying for an extended time there was not much hanging space for clothes. A plus is the provision of cutlery and bowls handy for eating take away meals (recommend the Blue Lips fish and chip in town and Sea Change... more

Spent four days here in May in one of the beach bungalows. Room was excellently furnished and had a fabulous view. There was building work going on at the back of where we were but we didn't notice it at all. I think the issue as regards the building will be what happens when it is all finished. At the... more
