The hot stone meal was great. Something different and kept 6 of us entertained. Steak was very good. Staff very attentive and did a great job. Well done on the deck. Did not go into the hotel itself. Not cheap but he your in the north and back packers need work.

the room was clean, price was fair and the location was good but that was about it on the positive side. on the negative side was the noise- the backpackers were partying nightly until the wee hours of the morning. WiFi was super expensive and not very good. The restaurant ran a trivia night that is biased towards locals- the... More

Grossly over-priced – nowhere near the sea or any other point of interest; in a boring part of what must be one of the dullest towns in Australia. We stayed in an apartment, which was brick inside and out. Poor decor. One of the four hotplates couldn't be used as the knob was missing; the marks indicating whether the plates... More

We rented a standard suite, 2 bedroom apartment. All rooms have brick walls and tile floors. The living/kitchen area is 2m x 3m, which is enough room for a kitchen table and four chairs. The bedrooms are adequate sized with wall mounted A/C above each bed. The apartments are not serviced each day and dishes must be clean prior to... More

Thanks to the Potshot for a great weekend. We stayed for two nights in the Osprey Village across the road after being upgraded for free :) Was a nice birthday surprise. The room was great, had a TV and Spa bath and King Size bed was comfy and spacious. Very happy with our stay.

The Potshot has multiple levels of accommodation from back packers to motel, to 2 bedroom units: prices vary accordingly. The Postshot motel is middle of the road when it comes to price and comforts. Sadly i don't think there has been any money spent on the hotel rooms up keep since last time we stayed there 3 years ago. For... More

Stayed for business. Was upgraded to 2 bedroom apartment but was by myself anyway. in Western Australia you pay for the location and this is no exception. $195 a night I recently stayed in Mandurah and Busselton for $120 for the same type of unit. Some points. * The hot water was scalding hot beware if you have kids. *The... More

The potshot is the place to be with the best of all worlds= backpackers or resort, fine dining poolside or normal restaurant or pub dining/room service, the bar has a nice outdoor section and seams to be the local hangout for all the dive staff. Room was recently renovated, we also had a free upgrade from backpacker queen to normal... More

If you are expecting 4 star accommodation then i suggest you keep driving, the standard room is no more than a hostel room, unless you request a luxury room and pay the inflated rate then forget it, standard rooms are overpriced and should be classed as a hostel room rate

It's not bad but also not good.... A little bit dirty and rundown however, the cheapest way to stay in Exmouth. Dorms are spacious and more or less clean but the bathroom was quite dirty. Additionally, the staff is not really helpful - and the luggage room is a big risk for your staff....
