John and Henrietta run a friendly homestay. Pretty basic but comfortable and homely - a bit like staying with your grannie. Comfortable bed. Quiet location. Good breakfast served in the garden room. Fine for an overnight stop en route. Prices advertised on the website look a little top-end for this type of accommodation. At low season and last minute bookings,... More

We only stayed one night at Toby Inlet B&B en route from Perth to Margaret River and beyond. This was a last minute find as we were unsuccessful in getting accommodation at MR for a Saturday night. Turns out Toby is a real gem. It's location makes for a perfect rest stop along the route we were driving. The room... More

Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely. The location was close to the Dunsborough CBD, to the beach, wineries, eateries and some of the close attractions included a whale watching cruise, Niggli Cave and Cape Naturaliste. The hosts were personable and happily shared information regarding the region.

Nola and I have just spent two nights at Toby Inlet B&B and the hosts John and Henrietta are both very friendly and accommodating. A cosy lounge area with a log fire when required greets you as you enter the premises with a glassed in dining area looking out on the semi rural property. Daily breakfast is nicely prepared and... Great setup, nice informative owners, nice area, clean rooms. It's exactly what I would do to a big house if I wanted to turn it into a B&B. Worth every cent, breakkie was really good, we had our own entrance to our room so we didn't get disturbed by anyone. We are definately returning!

Friendly owners who provide useful information about the region and they provide a homely stay great for people looking for something different from the typical resort and hotel accommodation. For those who are up for exploring, you can enjoy a smooth paddle down to beach using the B&B canoe, that was one of my favorite apart from the breakfast. Thou it... More

This was the first B&B that we had stayed in, so didn't know what to expect. Open walking through the front door ,we found the smell was rather off putting, but the Owner was Friendly, enough.. As he stepped out from behind the Office desk,we noticed that he was barefoot, something we thought a little strange. He explained that he... More

We were Impressed with the excellent service and friendliness of the hosts. Full cooked breakfast served on heated plates! (Don't you hate having hot food served on cold plates!) Bright alfresco style dining room with outlook to nice gardens and the relaxing music makes it a pleasant experience. The hosts are helpful with ideas and good knowledge of the region.... More

As soon as we stepped through the door we were disappointed. It smelt terrible. Our room, which was classed as the Family room was way too small. I took my shoes off and straight away could feel the carpet was dirty. When showering our children the water smelt terrible. Breakfast was between 8-9, not at all handy when you have... More

Unfortunately as a B&B, our style of accommodation may not suit all guests with several very young children. More
