Positives - lovely location and friendly staff. Negatives - run down, "out of order" signs everywhere and obviously no money being spent on improvements. Would love to see everything repaired, more pathways, lighting at drinking water taps, gaps made in the rails around sites to make it easier to get around, and bathrooms in a more central position for a... A great place to relax, a beach lovers paradise, great for walking, swimming and star gazing. Staff very friendly, amenities clean, caravan sites roomy. A great place for a tinnie to explore the coast.

Having blown 3 tires in 60km and limping along the road towards Denham at 40km/hr (due to tire damage) with 3 kids, a dog and the sun nearly down the sign to Nanga Bay was an answer to prayer. Not only did they give us a place to stay- the amazing staff ran our busted tires into town for replacing... More

From the time we stepped into the reception and the smell of stale cigarette smoke wafted from the office when knew that this Resort was past its use by date. Mind you there are several redeeming qualities about it. The beach is very close and has beautiful sunsets and what we had from the restaurant delicious bring the calamari and... More

After driving all day from Geraldton and not making a booking we found ourselves at the gates of Monkey Mia with nowhere to stay. We drove back to Denham and the first park we saw where all were crammed in like sardines was also fully booked. I googled Trip Advisor and found Nanga on there with mixed reviews. It was... More

Stayed here for 3 nights . great location beautiful scenery but very run down. needs a lot of work. The amenities are dirty, and the generator noisy. The spa was empty so no go. not to many positives this time, under new management hopefully they will clean up the place.

We took a chance (after reading the poor reviews from the last couple of months) and took our caravan to Nanga Bay Resort last week! It was a great stay, reception staff were helpful, manager also easy to get along with, restaurant was open every night with good inexpensive food and on State of Origin final night they had a... Could be a nice place with new owners/management, a smile on the face and some money spend. The park looks rundown and it is. Bookings get messed up and one in 5 days a hot shower!!! Remove the asbestos cabins near the beach. Not worth it the money.
