We had booked one night on our way through to Denmark and just needed somewhere to put our heads down. In all honesty we would have been better staying in the car. we had a family room and I just can't think of anything positive to say - the room smelled do disgusting and musty as if no air had... Hello Sarah, The AUgusta Hotel is over 100 years old and viewed as an icon in the town. Whilst sections of the accommodation is aged, at all times we aim to keep it clean and comfortable. In the Christmas - New Year period our accommodation is at a premium, and rooms that are normally let to our regular tradesmen and... More

If you've just blazed a gourmet trail through the Margaret River region and are expecting more of the same then you may be disappointed. On the other hand if you come down to Augusta to relive your childhood sea side holidays where people swam in the river and caught herring near the entrance in the afternoon then this hotel is... Basic hotel but ok for the money we paid. The room was clean and bed comfy And in a fabulous location within walking distance to the river and local IGA shop. The food at the pub was a bit average but the view of the river and beautiful gardens made up for it, great place to have a drink and... More

Very old rooms, cold and musty. Clean enough but over priced given the state of the rooms. Had dinner at the pub, very average at best and quite pricey. Not much to choose from in Augusta but given our time again we would rather stay in Margaret River and drive down the coast than stay here again.

Had lunch here the other day. My meal was arranged by the group I was with and isnt something that I would normally have, however it tasted quite good. Watching the fish and chips that others were ordering looked absolutely great. It looked mouth watering to say the least. The staff were friendly and quick to bring the meals out... More

We spent 2 nights there We were upgraded to a cabin as a studio room wasn't available for our dates It was a delight ! Certainly not modern (as mentioned in a previous review) but everything was clean, tidy, cosy and bright Kudos to the cleaners All you could need plus a wonderful view of the river and ocean We... I stayed here for a one night stop over visiting relatives in Augusta! Staff were very friendly and helpful but the rooms were a bit tired! They smelled damp and needed a bit of attention... paint and new furnishings! There were no disabled facilities which is poor. It's not hard to have one or two rooms with a hand rail... More

I was part of a big group who decided to have lunch at the Augusta pub and watch the big game on TV. The view is fantastic and there was a good family atmosphere. I ordered an entree size of ribs which were fantastic value at $15. I am a big eater and it was enough to satisfy my hunger.... More

We only stayed here for one night. The room was a bit musty when we first went in, but what a view! The room was clean and there was a kettle, toaster and fridge in the room- perfect if you are travelling on a budget. We ate at the pub restaurant, and had pizzas as there was less wait than... Dated but Clean room, although did have a musty smell on first opening the door. The Staff are friendly. It is just what we needed after a long drive - a shower, clean sheets and a comfortable bed. Apparently breakfast is basic, as the staff gave us tips where to go for a good meal.
