We stayed for just one night in the studio, however we were very impressed with the location and charm of this B&B. Phil our host greeted us on arrival, then filled us in on what to see and where to dine that night. The house itself is beautifully decorated, and the following morning joined the other guests in the sumptuous... More

We recently stayed at this beautiful b&b. The house is well maintained and with in walking distance to shops, restaurants in castlemaine. The host, Phil was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room we had was large with all we needed, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom was across the hall which was just for us. Breakfast... More

Phil and his partner were considerate and welcoming. The room was a delight, quiet and warm on a cold winters night with hot showers that did not run out of water. The living room was warmed up for us before we returned in the evenings where we sat and enjoyed a glass or two of wine. The dining room is... More

Travelling a lot for work, it's always a pleasure to stay in a charming B&B rather than a brick veneer motel. The host is very hospitable, the house warm and cosy, rooms quiet, and hot breakfasts cooked to order. Guests are made welcome and given free run of the communal areas. I could make hot drinks at anytime in the... More

We are three friends of a certain age who stayed overnight in two rooms - the Australian and Main Spa rooms - while attending a poetry reading afternoon nearby. Each room contained a queen and single bed, and each was beautifully furnished and quite large. The charming house and uber-comfortable rooms delighted us. Mine host Phil was polite and friendly... We stayed here for 1 night. Booking process was easy as was locating the manner. Upon arriving we walked into a beautiful garden secluded by a large hedge and were greeted at the door by our host Phil who was lovely. Our room was very clean and relaxing to be in. The dining room and loungespace were both clean and... More

We have just spent three nights at Clevedon Manor and, on the basis of our experience, would recommend it to any one looking for B&B accommodation within walking distance of the centre of Castlemaine We were welcomed by one of the owners and shown around the property - in particular the guest sitting room and the guest dining room. It... More

I stayed here for a weekend with my husband in September 2012. The house is beautiful, and full of interesting antiques and pictures. We had an en-suite, although I don't think all rooms have these. The room was very cosy and the bed very comfortable, and everything was spotless. The house has lovely gardens, too, and is a pretty easy... More

Cannot understand some poor reviews as we found This B&B perfect for couples/ adults. Close to daylesford area And open gardens, plenty of great restaurants which the hosts Suggested and traveladviser reviews of restaurants are Accurate... Rhys and Sandy A delightful... More

Will I be coming back here again? You bet! A magnificent queen anne building with marvellous rooms and gardens. I was greeted by one of the owners, Phil, at the door, who made me feel right at home. I highly recommend it. Well worth the money.
