We arrived this time with trepidation with two 16 yr olds and two 14 yr olds in tow, wondering if this would be our last family holiday to this corner of paradise.... We asked "shall we do it next year?...." And the response just summed this place up - yes, yes, yes and more yes. The accommodation is five star... More

Thank you so much for such a lovely review of not just the Sea Garden Cottages, but your whole experience on Tresco. First of all, we are so delighted to read that you found that there was still something for everyone on Tresco - even 14 and 16 year olds. Thank you for your kind comments regarding the accommodation and... More

Tresco is a beautiful island, quiet, safe, peaceful and a real getaway. We stayed in the Clam apartment. it was like booking a hotel, the apartment was made up everyday and there were more than the essentials provided for our use. The gardens around were well tended and inviting to the wide range of birds and bees to enjoy. The... More

We stayed for 14 nights in Sea Garden Cottages. Very well equipped kitchen (coffee/tea/milk and biscuits provided on arrival which was nice). £10 per week charged for all electric used which was very reasonable. Cottage in close proximity to the tennis courts and indoor pool. On ground floor was open plan kitchen and lounge with large screen tv, patio doors... More

We took the family on holiday with us, an additional 6 adults and 5 children, and stayed in 4 of the Sea Garden cottages. They were perfectly placed with the Ruin Cafe and swimming pool next to us. The beach was ideal as the children could play whilst we sat on the cafe patio sampling the Ruin's delicious food and... More

Toddling in Tresco Okay, so here's the lowdown on doing Tresco with a toddler. We brought our sixteen month old out here. From London Gatwick to Newquay to St Mary's airport and then a short boat ride to Tresco. We were very much in shoulder season/week. A lot of stuff was going to open the week after we left and... I have been chasing my dream of paradise by visiting Caribbean and Indian Ocean over the years, until we discovered Tresco, two years ago. After our first visit, we bought a timeshare at Sea Garden Cottages. Five star accommodation, with amazing views. Where ever you are on the island you'll get a piece of paradise. No cars, never crowded, kids... More

They have flattened the Island Hotel and made self-catering units in its place. We were a little uncertain if it was was for us. But the hotel on Bryher was closed because it was early season and we thought we would try it. It was idyllic. If you really need a hotel this may not suit but self-catering doesn't quite... More

It does not get any better than this. The place is magical. The quality of accommodation and cleanliness is unrivalled. Not the cheapest but worth every penny. The staff on the whole island are helpful and courteous from the cleaning girls to the staff in the spa. If you can't afford it save up you will not be disappointed.

We have just returned from a week staying at the Sea Garden Cottages on Tresco and loved every minute of it. The location is stunning with fabulous sea views from the cottage. It was honestly the best equipped and fitted out self catering accommodation we have ever stayed in. Yes it's pricey but in a different league from other seaside... More

We stopped here for a cup of tea when walking around Tresco. The cafe is in a totally stunning location. The prices are equally stunning - very expensive!! The waitress was in a complete muddle about which tea was Earl Grey/ordinary and for this price she should have known who had ordered what.
