Four of us stayed for 4 nights; our accommodation, hosts and the breakfasts absolutely made our holiday. Nigel and Danni are superb hosts with a wonderful enthusiasm and knowledge of the Islands. The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac between a beach and a nature reserve. The house is not that conveniently close to the main town but Golf buggies... More

Excellent accommodation and food, delightful and knowledgeable hosts, within 100 yards of the sea and a nature walk - what more could you ask for?? We wrote in the visitors book "as good as it gets" and it is!

Very nice stay with Nigel and Danni recently. Scilly was beautiful and a great time of year to see the flowers. Nigel's recommendations for the island trips were spot on. Lots of eating choices and easy to get around on foot.

We stayed 5 nights at Carn Ithen at the beginning of May this year. The islands are stunningly beautiful and have an abundance of bird life - one of the main reasons for our visit. We have stayed at a lot of B&Bs and we rate Carn as one of the very best. Our hosts Danni and Nigel were fantastic... More

If a rating of 5 is what we should give for good, clean, comfortable and spacious accommodation, with a good breakfast and in a delightful location only yards from a beach in a sheltered cove, it's still not enough for Carn Ithen! Still to be added are the tasteful modern art work adorning the walls and hosts Danni and Nigel's... More

We stayed for 4 nights at Carn Ithen back in March this year. The islands are the most beautiful you will ever see and it feels like you are abroad with the glorious weather. Both Nigel and Danni who run Carn Ithen were just fabulous. They are both so welcoming and warm and nothing is ever too much trouble.. and... More

We stayed at Carn Ithen in Sept 2013. The room was very comfortable, the breakfasts were delicious and Danni & Nigel were very accommodating. Thank you both for making our holiday so memorable. Scilly is the sort of place you just don't want to leave!!!

This was our third trip to Carn Ithen and yet again Nigel and Danni were excellent hosts. Fantastic breakfasts and an impressive local knowledge of the islands and wildlife. Will definitely be back again next year!

We really enjoyed the time in the Scilly isles! Perfect very kind hosts, delicious AGA cooked breakfast and many suggestions what to do! Definitely a great B&B! The weather can be rough on the Scilly isles but you can enjoy that time in the cosy lobby of the house.

Another great stay at Carn Ithen. Excellent B&B in the tranquil location of Old Town. Clean comfortable en-suite, delicious breakfast & in the beautiful and relaxing Isles of Scilly, you can always find a beach and sometimes an island to yourselves!
