Ideal unsophisticated accommodation in a peaceful, country location. As fans of the Scilly Isles we 'discovered' this guesthouse in 2011 and now it would always be our first choice. As others have said this is a bright, airy, homely, clean, peaceful guesthouse with great service. We valued the warm welcome, fresh flowers, readily available advice when requested - and the... I would not hesitate in staying here again. After a problem with my original accommodation Sabine could not have been more helpful in accommodating me at short notice. It is a beautiful bright, airy, homely, clean, peaceful guesthouse. It is surrounded by fields and you get to experience the true unspoilt peacefulness of the Scillies, and some of the more... More

Sabine made us very welcome and was very helpful. Her lovely breakfast ladies are efficient and cheerful. Rooms 4 & 5 share a Jack and Jill bathroom and are near a very lounge. The accommodation standard is high and on the ground floor so easy for people who struggle with stairs. The breakfast was varied and well done, although the... More

Welcoming and nice place to use as home base for exploring St. Mary and the rest of Scilly Islands. Good breakfast, and we liked the possibility for a late lunch / early dinner in the cafe (until 17:00). Excellent service from helpful hostess, Sabine! The only negative experience was only cold water in shower a couple of times.

Just spent 6 days here. Rooms and all public areas are very clean, TV reception was sometimes poor but, could this be due to remote location of Scilly Isles? Coffee shop serves excellent breakfasts. During my stay weather was warm and dry so, could use tables in open air BUT seating capacity for breakfast inside is limited if weather outside... More

Stayed here for 2 nights and would thoroughly recommend this lovely guest house. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable and lounge and dining areas were homely. Staff were so friendly and accommodating and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Breakfasts were wonderful and full english cooked fresh to order, setting you up for the day. The bus stop is... More

Stayed here for 4 nights last week. The accommodation was clean, well decorated and the bedding extremely comfortable. At £45 per night it was extremely good value and have paid much more for less elsewhere. Sabine and her staff were most welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was excellent and cooked fresh as you ordered. The café... More

Great welcome, great breakfasts, good value. Its an uphill walk from Hugh Town but OK if the weather is good. Well located for walks around the north end of St Mary's. An excellent base for a family holiday, highly recommended.
