Located in the centre of the city this hotel is ideal for a one night to look around the area. The staff are friendly. The room was showing its age a little but was comfortable enough although the bed was a bit hard. The breakfast was poor but then you don't pay a lot for it so you cannot expect... More

The building is nothing special but it has a very good location near the city center, the rooms are confortable and the staff is very polite and nice. Maid service was very good, everything was clean. We had breakfast there and we really enjoyed it.

Stayed here with Team USA for ITU WORLD DUATHLON. The place was packed and the staff did a great job of tending to the guests. Maid service was excellent. Breakfast was included with the room and it was a bountiful selection for a continental buffet. Really enjoyed that breakfast. For our early morning departure at 5:30 the staff opened up... More

Stayed here for a major sporting event hosted in Pontevedra and this hotel was good. Talking to other competitors this was probably one of the best hotels available in the centre of the city although we heard no complaints about the others bearing in mind there were over 1,000 competitors staying in the city. Rooms (we had two) were ok... More

For the very good location that it has, they could do so much better if they could change a bit the face of the hotel (inside-out). Rooms are spacious, but with an old design. Service is good, and breakfast very poor.

Stayed here regularly over 15 years. You will find more luxurious. You will find cheaper. You will not find better value. Hotels are as good as their staff and those at the Galicia Palace are simply the best!

We were doing the "camino" to Santiago and decided to stay in Pontevedra during the night. The staff was extremely friendly. The room was very clean and cozy and when we checked out at 7 a.m., although we had not reserved the breakfast option and in spite of being too soon to open the cafeteria they wouldn't hear about us... From the start of our holiday everything went very smoothly considering that fifty tired travellers all arrived at the same time. Our rooms were beautifully clean and the temperature in spite of the horryfying heat, perfect. The staff most helpful and friendly. We were on demi-pension and the food was of high standard well served and presented. Our breakfast consisted of... More

This is a good 4* town hotel. The staff pleasant especially in cafe/bar.Prices here reasonable. Decor is a little dated but well maintained and the hotel is quiet. Breakfast is not good and at 6€ not good value ( better is available in town cafes). An 18€ dinner is available and menu seemed good but I did not try this.... More

Location is the best asset, then room size, pretty spacious. Clean hotel that stayed stuck in the 80s in terms of decor. Friendly staff. Don't pay for the breakfast option... It's kind of a sad offer.... A couple of cold toasts on a basket, some greasy croissants, coffee and juice. I never quite get hotels that don't put a minimum... More
